Oh! You noticed! My dear friend on here Nirmalamaya gave me this title after I wrote a poem, it means Poet, literally  I am VERY grateful for her giving me this name, she is a wonderful person, and though her ishta deva is Shiva and mine is Krishna, we agree on a lot of things, we have gentle arguments to gain perspective on each others lifestyles, and we have become great friends
krsna, I don't believe in any gods.. However, was attempting to be humorous. I come to RT to stay laid back. I would be in the religion section if I really wanted to be there.
No it really doesnt, it implies simply that one does not feel the neccessity for God, plain and simple. I personally, do not NEED God, well techincally I do but first let me explain, that I did not come to Krsna out of desperation, I came to Him out of fascination of the wisdom He brought to us through the Bhagavad Gita and discovered him in Maha Mantra. The need for Him is more like the need to increase my devotion and to become closer to Him, but it is not out of fear, it is out of Love. I dont fear being ignorant, going back to drug abuse, and living carefree, but I find nothing but increasing love and bliss as I get closer and closer to Krsna everyday.
If you feel the burning need, here's a great forum just for such things. I used to be a member. http://www.iidb.org/vbb/index.php Thanks! I'll do my level best Smokey! salutes*
Read Chapter 26 of Vonnegut's "Hocus Pocus". Lovely description of the human raise, and so called faith in it.
I'll have to check out this book! Vonnegut was sort of, well, you know, but he sure was funny about his views
The only thing that separates Vonnegut from the likes of Lou Reed and David Bowie is his lack of pure sexuality. Other than that... he's fairly close to being a god. Hare Kurt Hare Rama!
Indeed, all the Gopi (female cowmaids) loved Him when He played His flute. Plus, He is the God of Love, and He is the Enjoyer
