yeah, we got that from the video. but why don't you call it that now? THAT'S the mystery. probably because americans started calling it that and y'all got your grudge holding panties in a twist.
Well, I missed that bit I was too busy looking at her breasts. We started callin' it "football" when "rugby" got popular. You guys looked at "rugby"; liked the game, started playing it, but then thought "rugby" was kinda gay, so decided to use the more sexy word "soccer"... We don't get our panties in a twist... we wear knickers, silly.
I don't know what you mean. Maybe an image might make me have a fetish about them. Please do post an image.
I think it was called "football" to start with. When rugby football was invented after a boy at Rugby School had the idea of picking up the ball and running with it, they started to call the old-style game "association football" which was shortened to "soccer". I've always thought it funny that soccer is more of a girls' game in the US, whereas what we consider to be girly games like hockey, lacrosse and rounders (aka "baseball") are played by guys.
because they play hockey and rounders like a pack of rabid dogs on steroids. soccer is so much more polite.
I agree with hockey (Ice Hockey anyway), because North American Ice Hockey is great- but it's more a Canadian invention so... Also, do Canadians call Football soccer?
