i roll a mean joint

i dont know what it is, but for some reason, my joints are always immaculate. i havent even been rolling that long. i swear, i havent even rolled 6 joints in my life and now they're all perfect.

im so happy i have a tangible ability! ill try and post a pic soon

I demand pictures as proof, and, if you are a such a good roller, perhaps you would not mind starting a thread with step by step instructions as well as pics, so that those of us, like myself, who are trying to learn, may have an easier time. Thanks.

 

yea yea. as soon as i get a fresh sack, some more papers, and borrow my bro's digital camera ill have a pic or 10 up. bear with me and i'll get them put up eventually.

who are you to demand anything, anyway? you piss me off, but since im such a nice guy, i'll tell you how i do it. BTW all these steps will be in the pics.

 

I start by folding the paper to just under the line of gum. Next, I break the weed up really fine; not crumbling it to dust, but enough so that I'm not just smoking a nug in a paper tube. After I have the proper amount broken up (about half to three quarters of a gram), I sprinkle the weed on the paper and start to roll it betwixt my fingers. Then, I wet the gum really well and, instead of just pushing the gummed edge down onto the rest (which, if messed up, can easily make a nicely rolled joint turn out loose), I make it a rolling action.

After that, I compress the paper of one end together so nothing falls out of the bottom while i put the shit back in that fell out during rolling. When all the weed is in the spliff, I use a small tool to pack the weed nice and firmly into the tube. After everything is A-OK, I twist whatever paper is left on the end into a tight little spiral. Just before the smoking, I cut off the twisted excess paper with a nail clipper or razor blade.



~HELPFUL HINTS~



1. IF WEED FALLS OUT OF THE ENDS WHILE ROLLING, DON'T FRET

It can always be scraped back into the end of the J.



2. BUY STICKY GREEN

The oil helps your fingers grip the paper, making rolling much less of a hassle. (Not to mention that, as a general rule, sticky weed is usually pretty good.)



3. TAKE YOUR FUCKING TIME

Haste makes waste. If you're in a real hurry, pack a bowl instead. Besides, most stoners I know would rather wait for a nice joint, rather than smoke a loose, shady spliff that was rolled in two seconds flat.



4. BREAK THE WEED UP WELL

The key is removing every last little stem and seed that will interfere with rolling a good fattie.

its very easy to be pompous about your joint rolling skills, i can roll ok, my cigs are good. i only know 2 people who can roll a PERFECT joint and the fact you havent rolled 6 yet doesnt make this believable......

I've seen an 9yo kid roll a mean ass joint before.... suprised the shit outta me.. kinda saddened me too... that someone that young is pickin up something like that.....

 

Word, I so know what you mean. This time last year I was a pitiful joint roller and now my joints are *kisses fingers like French people* MAH-VELOUS. I never thought I'd be a preferred spliff-smoker, but that's what I certainly have become.

Joints are an aquired talent, even though there are people that pick it up faster than others. I'm decent at it, but I don't go knocking on doors telling people I'm a badass roller or anything. And plus... its a joint! I don't know what it is about em, but they are too cool. Convenient, small, easy, what more could you ask for? Heck yes!

 

Sounds like we need a competition indeed!!
