pattern today...very similar to my favorite Foley and Corrina bag I can't stop wearing. I've never sewn with a pattern because they're like coloring books to me, as opposed to a huge piece of water color paper gleaming with tactile joy. and...I bought the right to use it for commercial use. I am a happy camper . It's PDF, so I should have the pattern by tonight and hopefull have time to make a cute clutch for myself tonight and post it on here. I am tres excited.
I don't see the point of a clutch. I mean what is it useful for? A cell phone wouldn't even fit in it.
I have to order a clutch soon but I have to take the motor an tranny out first to see which one I need.
9 by 6. My Foley and Corinna CLutch is 15 x 12....don't know what cell phone you're using Frieden You know they make them without briefcases now?
that was me-lynsey lol I am wondering if I should start sewing with leather? there is only so much 'opppmh' cotton can bring. I've ordered dupoini silk and some vitage kiono and Yakata fabric, but still...nothing fits the bill. home dec fabric is easy...but fashion fabric is soooo hard to match.
It is rather large, but that's not the point. The point is nearly every clutch I've seen cannot fit, widthwise, anything bigger than a credit card.
hmmm...that's odd. Originally clutches were very large....think 1960's very famous french brand-the inventor of the first fashionable clutch. I bet Cate can guess this one.
Cate your sig confimred it-Blonde Lynsey for Summer 2009. no more brown in summer of 2009! is my campaign slogan...which I carry to memorize. I put it in my new very tiny clutch, which I made out of two mini doll-house coasters and put a sprinle on as a button. medicinal marijuana anyone?
N/M I was thinking of those wallet/purse things. Maybe they are considered clutches too? I dunno...I don't even carry a purse much.
if you learned how to shift gears properly then you wouldnt need to keep buying a new one.. Geeze.. women :leaving:
