I'm in the mood for something different, I hope someone can impress me with music I have never heard. I love metal, but I also dig stuff like The Crystal Method or Portishead. My favorite band is Black Sabbath but I also like a lot of the modern "swampy" metal like The Sword and Clutch. Here is what I'm listening to right now: The Sword - Age of Winters Sevendust - Alpha Otep - Sevas Tra (I love female singers) It doesn't have to be metal, however. I'm pretty open-minded.

If you want to listen some classic heavy metal/jard rock band check out BUDGIE. seem to black sabbath, harder than Led Zeppelin. 70s.

I also like Artimus Pyledriver (poor, under-appriciated bastard, that one) and Fu Manchu. I might also mention Fireball Ministry. I've heard of Alabama Thunderpussy (what type willow tree do you suppose that is? ;-) (Deadmilkman: I'm not a huge fan of punk music but I'll check out those bands, anyway. Thank you.) what about Wolfmother? kinda like Zep and Sabbath..... You said you didnt like punk, but I bet you'd like The Misfits Tom Waits is a very intriguing guy...never ceases to amaze me. And Im a huge fan of the White Stripes............ good luck in your search!
