Can anyone help? I feel as thought I am only just barely keeping my head above water at the moment and am confused about alot of things going on in my life. Can anyone offer any direction??
I have been where you are, Jemima. I offer you the same advice I recently gave someone else on this forum: Step back, relax, meditate, and allow the pain to wash over you like the waves on a beach. Seek the stillness deep within your soul, and know that you are an eternal soul experiencing a mortal life. This moment's pains and uncertainties are a mere speck in the timeline of eternity, aren't they? That's the most important message for you. The less important message is that you're being tried and tested. Take comfort in knowing that this is the time-worn path for untold millions of souls. As someone once said out loud to me when I was in the depths of darkness: You'll be okay. And I was, and you will be, too. Why fret? Let what comes come, Jemima dear. The weakness and uncertainty you feel are only indulgences--the real you is a rock-solid, eternal, spiritual being. You can access that strength, however you must still the internal turmoil...meditate, free yourself from internal dialogue, and just be...you'll come out of this all right. Blessings, zengizmo
Welcome to being a human. the more you smile, the more energy you focus on being positive and loving, the easier it will be. Now, it'll never be EASY... life. Crazy business.
What a breath of fresh air to see a post like this. Excellent advise Zengizmo!!!! Sweet Jemima, Where are you thoughts?...in the here and now, or somewhere in the past/future? Observe them, and remember not all thoughts are your thoughts. Like a photographer, change your angle of view...and refocus. I think Zengizmo said it well, be still and just be. Resistance is futile. PM me if you would like to chat.
hugs help a lot in jumpstarting positive energies. who knows? maybe one of the reasons we're still alive is that idk, maybe someone gave Nikita Khrushchev a hug, making him at least for a moment think that dropping the bomb would be a bad idea. I send this reply with the utmost in non-corporeal hugs and with as many positive feelings as I can attach to it. wiser words have never been spoken: "this too shall pass"
Excellently spoken, aattc. An H P Lovecraft groupie? I started reading H P Lovecraft stories when I was 11, and still enjoy them.
