I need opinions on these books I gotta read:

So it turns out my fantasy/sci-fi class isn't what I thought it would be which was the exact same thing as 2 years ago haha we have new books to read and I haven't heard of them! If anyone has read them.. what did you think?

1. American Gods - Neil Gaiman

2. Already Dead - Charlie Huston

3. World War Z - Max Brooks

4. Heartshaped Box - Joe Hill


I know the latter is Sephen King's son. That's all. haha

 

american gods is great. imo, not his best book, but its a damn enjoyable read. neil gaiman is a good author.

world war z is also great, and for a book about zombies actually almost allows you to suspend your disbelief for a while.

sounds like a good course.

 

American gods i haven't read but i read another book by that author called anansi boys which is supposed to an indirect sequel..... it was very good, he really paints a picture with his writing...
