Hello and thank you for reading. I am going/ want to go to an amon tobin show on monday. His visual stage is incredible, and I think it would be amazing on acid. The problem is i am taking my gre's for grad school entrance on Thursday. I am pretty experienced with L, but an not sure how it would affect me taking my test. Does anyone have any experience with this, or recommendations. Im sorry i know i sound like a bitch, but i just really want to get a good score. On the other hand, this would be quite the experience. How would you feel.
just dont drink. try not to smoke too much weed. amphetamines will help, just make sure you have enough to take an hour or two before the test.
By thursday you will be more than fine! It should have little to no effect on your test. I'd side with no effect at all Have fun, an do well!
Unless you are taking a very large dose, everything should be over in 24 hours max. I would not worry.

I personally find that psychedelics can have a tendency to knock my focus out of balance for up to a week after tripping. It's mainly school work that I find more tedious after some trips. Focusing and studying aren't conducive to tripping for me. But don't let my experiences put you off, the immediate effects of the acid will have worn off by Thursday so you should be fine. Either way, if you feel like you can do it and you are prepared for it, then go for it. You know yourself better than any of us.
In my experience it usually takes a few days to fully return to 'reality'. My brain feels slightly fuzzy, not in a dopey cannabis sort of way, just I can still feel something there. If I have a job interview coming up, I try not to take hallucinogens up to a week before but like people have said though, you know your own body.
Ya the Tobin stage is pretty amazing. I will share this... unless you have seen him before and know what you're getting into, I would forget the psychedelics and go see it mostly straight. Some weed and/or alcohol. I saw ISAM last year and made the mistake of doing 4acodmt. I consider myself a seasoned tripper and it was way way WAY too much. I can't speak for the venue you're going to but I caution you to carefully consider whether this is a good idea. The lucy days before your exam shouldn't be an issue. Winding up in a ball, shaking, like a girl I saw at the show I went to is a whole other issue. We're all different and I don't know you like you do, but the people at the show I saw that were enjoying it were NOT tripping.
yep, no way. the day after just get a good sleep. the next day you will be back to reality and ready to hit the books.
Well I see two ways of going about this: 1. Your mind may be very focused on wanting to try acid right now. You really want to have a cool trip, and what a great place to have it? And so by allowing yourself this experience, you will be over the thrill a day or two after, and hit the books with ease in time for your exam. (This seems to be the way most people on this thread seem to think) 2. If you're willing to pass the experience and wait for your exam, you can drop acid at a different place sometime else. The fact is you are concerned about your exam, you're very likely to have that brought up on your trip "I have an exam in X days, and I'm here tripping balls, I got to get my life together" --something like that. But if you dropped after your exam, you'd have less stress. (Not right after of course ) Either one will be a fine option, and it really is up to you. But either way, have a great time and be safe!
