‘I’ Must Die “|--|” In as much as i can see, That which is of the ‘I’ in me, So it is i yearn, and to Our Father cry, For deliverance from all that is of the ‘I’, It is ‘I’, created of imagination and selfish desire, As lust, greed, and pride, stoke a consuming fire, A fire burning out of control, as ‘I’ leads the way, It’s smoke hiding the fleshly mind that leads one astray, Yet even in the smoke, searing heat, and blindness of “sight”, Truth can pierce the blackness of darkness, revealing “The Light”, Nothing can hide from “The Light”, “Light” reveals the “I”, And then one can "see" clearly that “I” must die, Yet to live, but die, seems an impossible task, And so of “Our Father” we need the impossible to ask. Help me to “deny myself(deny ‘I’)” Father! And as HE does, HE reveals more and more of “The Selfless One”, He Who leads His Brethren on “The Way to The Truth of The Life”. He Who was and is The Living Messiah, The Son of The Living GOD! And as The Messiah, so it must also be for His Brethren, “not My will, But THY Will Be Done Father”! what i have recorded above was begun here in creel, chih, mx in '93, completed on 1/26/05, and "completion" is near for each and every one of us. Thank Our Creator! home at last! forever free from "I". and while there is breath(spirit) there is hope many will "see", "see" "I" for what it is and desire to be set free! finally an invitation to ASpiritualJourney.Org peace, even as war(spiritual and carnal) rages....... francisco
baptism? have you received the "One Baptism" of "Spirit and Fire" roly? if so you have welcomed refinement and the destruction of "I". and, "oh, the joy that comes in the mourning(morning)", as one experiences "the peace that surpasses all understanding"! peace roly, even as war rages....... francisco
see....i saw it as your old self dying and the new self coming through...just as in baptism....funny how writing can be so subjective.... Roly.xxx
if you write concerning "water" immersion, well i believe Paul knew that water baptism was only for the jew, they who were "baptized into Moses in the cloud and the sea". and so Paul testified: "i come not to baptize, but to preach the good news" for it is the "good news" that works in the heart of man and there are those who then receive the baptism given of The Messiah, that of "The Holy Spirit and Fire". apart from such a baptism The Life remains but a shadow which religious systems use to blind the eyes of those who love this world and their own lives in it. such is the way of pagan "christianity":-( peace roly, even as war(spiritual and carnal) rages....... francisco
