I might need a new free e-mail provider:

Hello! I have been using canada.com for my e-mail for years.

A couple of weeks ago they told me I would need a new password for security reasons and I registered for a new one. When I went to check my mail a couple of days later I got a dialog box that said I would have to increase my screen display to a larger size and I followed their instructions and did it. After I restarted my computer my screen was a fuzzy mess so I temporarily hooked up the larger monitor from my new computer (that I don’t want to use for the Internet I am using my old one for that) and it displayed properly. When I went to check my mail I got a dialogue box that said welcome to your new account and there were 3 steps I had to set up – I did but ever time I clicked finish I kept getting sent to a page to buy DVDs.

So I think its time to find a new free e-mail provider and I am looking for suggestion. Cheers!

Are you sure it wasnt some sort of scam that you got roped into - I mean like those fake emails purporting to be from banks etc?
