I might hate tornadoes but I love thunderstorms!

And it's storming pretty bad here right now.... lots of wind too. It's about time, it seemed like it was gonna storm for a few days and finally has.

 

thunderstorms are soo much fun

 

I saw quite a few thunderhead clouds around, but seems like all the good stuff is nowhere near here

 

I wanna go play outside!

 

That storm rolled through here about 4 or 5 hours ago, got knocked offline, the sky turned back. Twas a beautiful thing.

I love it when the sky turns orange.

 

I dont like it when it turns green, because thats not a good sign.

usually means hail, and when there is hail, there is more than likely conditions for some kind of funnel or rotation

 

Hah.... actually I have no idea why I said I like it when the sky turns orange. I kinda do but I start to worry about tornadoes.

When I was in TN and tornadoes were VERY near the sky was black, pink, orange, green... all kinds of crazy colors. I actually have some pretty pictures of that- I didn't take them though. I was hiding in a closet downstairs.

 

i live near a nuke plant..if the sky turns green i'd be not so happy...tonight it was glowing on the way home, quite a lovely site to see

 

weird - so do I - but not close enough to see it glow
love it in woods in summer though when sky goes black - all the birds go quiet and wild flowers seem luminous ( to avoid saying glow again - but yaheear i did anyway so there )

 

I've lived extremly close to TMI before and never saw it glow...

which is good. wouldnt have liked that.

 

Damn, it was sunny when I was driving to my friends house when the damn apocalypse happening this afternoon. It started thundering and huge bolts of lightning. Then it poured down so hard I had to stop several times. When I made it to her street, I had to swerve for the limbs falling down. I had to get out a few times and move some branches so I could pass. Then, it went as quickly as it came.
