I don't care if you think this is the wrong spot for it because its not. This IS RANDOM thoughts... I've wanted to trip for a long time and it looks like tonight I may finally get the chance, we'll see but I have my hope up high.

From what my friend is saying its going to be in a drink, which I don't want... Then I'll have no clue about how much I'm really doing, but I know the rest. I've researched it many a time.

Do you think I should try to get him to just give me the LSD so I can do it on my own? Its what I'd prefer but I don't want him to get mad and not give it to me at all... At this point I'll take it where I can get it. The only thing to make it worth it(people wise) is I'd only be doing it with my friend(hottest person I've met ever) and her boyfriend. The other 11 people just live there.

 

Well you're already talking about tripping alone. I'd recommend a babysitter. But I don't like throwing myself out the second story window either.

well its really up to you dude, if you feel comfortable to go off on your own with your head full of acid for the first time, i say do it, finding your own adventures on acid is extremely fun, but for 1 i dont know the type of person you are and 2 i dont know the strength of the acid youll be ingesting, noway to determine the situation till your already in it i guess. But hanging out with a bunch of new people can be pretty cool to

I know my buddy James and I both ate 6 hits one day and I loved every fucking second.

He told me the next day that he was glad I was there to reassure him or he would've tried to kill himself. Said he couldn't hold a thought and it was driving him mad to the point of desperation. For real....

dude. this friend of yours. this hottest person you've ever met. is there any part of you that likes her as more than a friend, because if there is, the odds that you will tell her something to that extent are pretty big.

I kissed one of my best friend's girlfriend on the cheek spontaneously, and it just felt like the most natural thing to do. it was only a few weeks later i realized that was completely out of my character (sober character) and was very strange to the observers. behaviourally, you'll act like you're on ecstasy, in my experience. she will just be that much more beautiful and alluring to you, and you might not be able to maintain the just friends facade at all.

and lsd is absolutely nothing like dxm. lsd is absolutely nothing like shrooms, either. you cannot compare them. it's like someone saying "well i smoke cigarettes, and i'm interested in smoking cannabis, how would you compare them?"

dxm and lsd are like opposites of each other in my regards. dxm is very abstract and mental, very dissociative and deconstructing, while i find that acid is very concrete, it's about your feelings and your heart and your mind and your whole, it's very INTEGRATING, its very associating, it really roots you in your place in this cosmos and shows you your true nature, as opposed to just taking you on a wild ride through your mind (although it's that as well!)

it just can't be explained, and everybody experiences it differently, and every trip you take will be different. it's extremely variable.

my final word on recommendation is don't do a lot if you're doing it in this crowd, do like 1-2 hits. you will be VERY EMOTIONAL. so much so that you might CRY.

 

yeah. if it's in a drink, take a couple sips and wait for it to hit you. take more after that if you want stronger effects. honestly, i think acid is great in groups, much moreso than shrooms. if you're expecting it to be even REMOTELY like DXM, Writer's right. you're about to have your shit rocked.

 

mushrooms i find to be almost antisocial at times, makes you feel uncomfortable around certain people, where as acid i find to be extremely social and im usually comfortable enough to talk to random people that i dont know at all.

 

i disagree. i think there are some strong similarities between the two. theres many differences as well, but to say "lsd is absolutely nothing like shrooms" wouuld be completely incorrect from my perspective. i have some of the same visuals and feelings on lsd that i do on shrooms. its different for every person.

as for dxm, i would agree that the two are nothing alike. they arent even the same class of drug. but some may disagree, who knows.
