I might be wrong...(my first (hope not last) tie-dye)

Um.. in 3 hours my first tie-dye will be ready. I had no speacial dyeing to dye it, so I used royal blue pen ink and green gouache ash mixed with soda ash. I am afraid of failure. But I still try to be optimistic!
maybe you can tell me some predictions?
(on the photo colours are more bright than in realness)

 

I predict orignal and unique phatness! Post a pic of it when its done!

 

i predict your shirt will be blue and green....

make sure you put it thru the wash once or twice before you wear it, or if it gets wet some of the ink will leak

hope it turns out cool!

Um.. I wanted to say: No Comments, but... where the

hell has disappeared my favourite royal blue ink?? blah.. Everywhere, where there is white must be blue! Green gouache I used only to decorate it. Maybe it happened because the fabric was the curtain fabric. Or maybe soda forced it to disappear? ​

 

Well personally I like Green... So I think it looks great... But yeah the blues gone... You know not to use that again.. Atleast we learned something.. Keep trying

i dont think the ink was strong enough to penetrate through each side of the tie dye. i might be wrong but i think your best bet would be to use dying string or just any permanent fabric dye. you can get any color that you want, they sell it at jo-anns

Sorry, what is jo-ann? If it is local shop I can't buy there I am not around.
Ink penetrated with wet fabric very fast and deep, it has just simply disappeared!
