But they can never take my freedom of thought, NEVER!

I find out tomorrow in a meeting with my probation officer because I missed testing once and failed to show up for two appointments, also I wished a happy 4/20 to the recovery center clerk.

Well, I'll do my best to kiss her ass and try and get out of it... or atleast work toward house arrest.

Well... It's been over a year since the last time I smoked marijuana or did any drugs really.. been totally faithful in that sense and I'm still most likely going to get butt plugged by bubba.

Anyone have any tips to help me out?
I've never been to jail before...

In my opinion, I think you deserve punishment
Even though it sucks and you may disagree with it and the rules, you still broke them and went against your probation
I feel no pity for you, everything has it's consequences, the question is can you accept responsibility for them

Ok, if you feel that way that's nice...
But I mean... it was once against the rules to be black in a white person's bar... it was once against the rules to express your opinions on a king... it was once against the rules to practice certain religions..

I mean.. there's a difference between "justice" and "law", and if you can't distinguish that you're only seeing in black and white.

But... it doesn't change the outcome.. If worse comes to worse I'll accept my fate.

Yeah, and when those people did it then, they weren't even just jailed, they were usually beaten and injured.

Also, those people didn't 'choose' to be black in the white mans world, that isn't even comparable. You chose to do what you did, however miniscule. And it isn't a matter of 'justice vs law'. It's you vs the government, and the government will always win. You single-handedly trying to stick it to the man or whatever you're doing, is stupid, and will only cause you more hassle.

Do what you're told, or suffer the consequences. Yeah, I break the rules sometimes too, but I can handle the outcomes of everything that I do. You might not like it, but you posted on an internet forum so I guess I'm gonna be the one to say it: Sit down, shut up, and do what you are told, or deal with the shit you get for it otherwise.

    No pity.

Hey, calm down buddy... you put an excess of words in my mouth that I never even said.

Yes, my examples were a bit extreme, but it was to get a point across.

And I already stated that I would accept my fate if worse came to worse, but I won't stop fighting until it's sealed because that's what intelligent people do, not just people who let people walk all over them.. like someone I could mention.

At any rate, I by far have not said anything stupid... Simply stating that it is unjust, and I believe I have a right to say that a law, even if it is broken is unjust by its very nature.

And you can get all huffy and puffy all you want, It really doesn't effect me much at all.

I'll try to take it as a learning experience no doubt, and I never even asked for your "pity" as you proclaim, or even sympathy... but if that is the advice you wish to give me so be it.

Advice for what, how to suck his probation officer off so that they don't send him to jail for the actions he chose to commit?

There isn't any helping him, if you read his post, he's answered his own question.

    Comprehension problem?

dont call anyone ''goof''..it is one of the worst things to do in jail..it is instant fighting words...sounds lame but it is true....if you dont fight someone that calls you a goof you will be ridiculed and beat up

You mean you don't want to help him. So why post just to say that, to say your opinion is that he deserves punishment, to rub it in...

    nothing better to do?

He does deserve punishment. While I don't agree, and it is obvious that OP does not agree that the 'original' crime committed was stupid and undeserving of punishment, rules are rules and if he doesn't like them, I'm sure he can figure out how to google where the door is. However, he chose to break the rules and therefore, as a firm believer of accepting responsibilities and (good and bad) consequences, he deserves whatever they believe is a suitible punishment for him. So no, not necessarily to rub it in, but yes to voice my opinion. This is a public forum, after all.

    In your opinion, yes.

Sounds like you're swallowing more than just that! Just an opinion of course.

Since you're free[sic], you could probably still "choose" to spit it out. Another opinion.

Too late for advice now I guess. But otherwise I would have said get a haircut if you need one, wear a suit, speak well, be polite, look everyone in the eye and be understanding of the fact that you broke the rules of your probation.

I'm not making fun of your situation, but were you just being a smartass by doing this? Not a good idea...

    Bull-fucking-shit.

Sorry, but it is. All this shit eating...well, shit-- namely: "The real question is, can you accept the responsibility for it?" ( I've seen a bit of that around the "busted" forums) As though there's a 'choice' once the 'punishment' is meted out. The most insidious, heartless, low, disgusting, parasitic kind of rubbing it in there is. I say you're either intellectually impaired, or are suffering yourself and should seek help, on the inside. Get it?
