I love travelling to India really. I have been there a couple of times. :driving:
I have been to the Indian Punjab, Nagaland, Manipur, Misoram and Uttarkhand. I just loved Nagaland the most: it is one of the seven sister states of North East India. I though couldn't enjoy Nagaland thoroughly as there were, rather still are militancy issues there (near the Burma border). The tourists are not allowed to go there, even entering into the state of Nagaland was pretty tough but I managed to do so. However, I couldn't go far in there, I just went to the district "Mokokchung"; I hope I recall the name correctly.
I think if I label India as "the country with the most diverse forms of culture and topography", it won;'t be wrong. I would just love to be going to India time and again for the visit purpose.
I would love if someone shares in this thread, his travelling experience to India.

Yeah, its pretty awesome really. Just don't forget to take some ice with you when you travel. Its really hot there in most of the states, lol....just kidding. Seriously, you should travel to India if and when you get an opportunity. You will love it. :)

Yeah, it's a wonderful and fascinating country, lost count of how many times I've been - go south - Kerala, Tamil Nadu. The west coast and the Ghats have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. :)

From my experience with a great month-long tour of India in 1991, it's the country most unlike what we in the west are used to. I doubt that has changed.

Seeing both north and south India is important, since a great many tour companies provide one or the other. And the outfit I went with over 20 years ago is unfortunately out of business.

Although previously expressed, I also find India most unlike what westerners are used to. India's civilization has lasted longer than any of its contemporaries. My trip to India was like time travel. I doubt much has changed in the last two decades.
