Have you seen it? JK. Fortunately I found it, eventually. I'm serious. Has this ever happened to you? It's very strange and funny at the same time. Here's what happened. I checked into a Super 8 off some Asheville, NC exit. After a copious amount of chill time I decided to take a walk to find coffee. Turns out the road out infront of hotel is unwalkable so I have to drive. OK> No problem. Thing is I ended up driving half an hour and then getting lost. Not only was I lost but none of the maps I had was readable. So I jus kept driving around the highways hoping to remember my exit. No luck. Finally I got a phonebook at a gas station and found out my hotel was on cromwell ave or something. I asked a cpl people but no one could tell me where cromwell was till I went to another gas station and asked the guy and he tole me it was 2.5 miles down the road, after the best western. What was he an angel? Yes. They all are here!@ This morning the maid knocked on my door and said, "Stephen" and I got up to see what time it was and I opened my door and said to her, "yuh" and she goes, 'you stayin with us?' and I said, "un no, what time is it" and she looked at me good and said, "you got plenty of time." A real sweet person. Wow. So I am glad I found it! I wondered if you have ever lost your hotel at night. ???
Hi, I was staying in a campsite near Silverstone last year, and the toilets were about a 10 min walk away, as I was walking back to the tent first of all I walked into the wrong field and then when I found the right field, I walked past our tent!!, I luckily found it in the end though!! (My excuse is that it was dark @ the time!!, lol!!). Will. P.S. Sorry about the punctuation!!.
LOL - great stories! I was with my dad and some friends coming back from river (I think it was the river, but anyway...) and we stopped to get something to eat. We sat down, but I got up to get something. So then I went back to our table...and I set down, only to realize it wasn't our table...LOL! Then I realized my dad was in the next both over, right were I left them. :d
i have lost my camp site but never my hotel THOUGH i have been worried about it and if i wasnt with people with more attention to detail then me... im sure i would have haha
Well once it was night time in Mcloed Ganj and i'd been drinking rum and smoking charras with some peopel in there room, it was pitch dark when I finally decided to stagger back to my guesthouse...trouble is I had no idea where that was. I ended up going the wrong way and falling about 6 or 7 metres onto a ledge. If I didn't land on this ledge i'd have fallen another 100 metres bouncing off various gutters and fire escapes on my way down...After thanking god for my lucky escape I collected myself, climbed back up and finally found the stairwell down to the street...Because it was raining (as it constantly does in mcloed) and I was very intoxicated I slipped again and rolled down about 15 steps before coming to a stop. After that I found my guesthouse after about 10 minutes. The next morning I woke up with a very painful and bruised back , grazes over my shins (I still have a scar!) and a very swollen knee cap! I spent the next few days having to explain to people what happened and why I was limping around everywhere...It took me another 2 weeks to realise that I should probably just quit smoking charras and lay off the alcohol! That was a scary night though....
