I don't know why but I just enjoy doing this. Maybe it's my way of dealing with stress or something but I just do it once every week. Generally I'll carry around a sack and creep around in a sort of crouch-walking position making goblin noises, then I'll walk around my house and pick up various different "trinkets" and put them in my bag while saying stuff like "I'll be having that" and laughing maniacally in my goblin voice ("trinkets" can include anything from shit I find on the ground to cutlery or other utensils). The other day I was talking with my neighbors and they mentioned hearing weird noises like what I wrote about and I was just internally screaming the entire conversation. I'm 99% sure they don't know it's me but god that 1% chance is seriously weighing on my mind.
That's hilarious, and fun! You're going to live a long happy life by game playing and fun activities. It is proven! Maybe some others can tell us the games they play to relieve stress and have fun
Have you tried creeping around your neighbors house and acting like a goblin while they are not home? Imagine if you came home and there was a goblin in your living room.
You must be saying it out loud if your neighbors hear it. Try talking in a low whisper, you can still make it sound evil as you go through your house stealing your own stuff. This is definitely a side of you not to be shared with anyone.
This is why I enjoy the autumnal darkness. Often, when I move outside, I intentionally wear dark clothing and try to stay in the darkness and shadows just to avoid being seen by other people. Behavior inspired by the video game character Garrett from the Thief video game series. What can I say? A guy likes his privacy. Definitely do your thing as long as you don't involve others.
Creeping around the house like a goblin sounds like a delightful pastime. Do you, by any chance, hunch in a corner with a ring, too, calling it your precious? If I were to goblin crouch, I'd likely channel my inner Gollum as well.
