I know that not many here give a shit,but-

Last night,a senior in a high school football game here in Oregon ran for 643 yards and made 10--yeah 10 touchdowns!! The score of the game was 80 something to 60 something. And the good thing is---next year he plays for THE DUCKS!! :sunny:

Speaking of which--they're playing at 12:00 today Pacific time. Pretty much goody-goody.

I don't mean to be mean BUT - I'm about to start a war, maybe, - American Football isn't as interesting to me as REAL football!!! There I said it.... and I'd like you to know that Mexico won the Gold for REAL football in the Olympics YEA!!!

That is a shit load of yards and touchdowns. A lot of people dont even score 10 touchdowns all year lol.

 

that's the thing with high school sports. some teams/players are just SOOO much better than the others it can be just embarrassing.

i remember one game back when i was in high school, one of our running backs ran the ball 3 times, for 240 yards and 3 touchdowns.

 

63-14 Oregon. 1st string didn't play in the second half. 2nd and 3rd string played the second half. The somewhat weak schedule they have played the first 3 games were last minute substitutions for the cowards that backed out and didnt want to come to Autzen stadium to play.

Marebare and the rest of you SOCCER fans=Here's what I see when I "WATCH' it=Oh they're going down the field and they're gonna--oh they're going the other way and--oh-- they're going back to--oh--they're going to the ---oh --and so and so is gonna really--oh damn--they--ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-ect-on and on,back and forth and forth and back. Shit it's like jackin' off and stopping before you come--over and over and over and over----------You get my point. No wonder people riot and kill one another . The tension builds and falls--builds and falls. Drives 'em crazy!!!!! However,no one forces me to watch it.(thank you ,deity). I'd rather watch my laundry go 'round and 'round and make up stories about what my shorts are doing to my T-shirts! Each his/her own.

I don't know anything about football, but it looks interesting. I've gotten into hockey over the last couple of years, I think I would like football.

I am glad you enjoyed it Scratcho. I am not a football fan since one of my cousins broke his neck in high school football back in the 60's. Actually I am not a fan of any sports these days but I am glad you got excited about this kid going to one of your favorite teams.

 

80 something to 60 something? Are both of these teams playing without a defense?
