with all the money im saving and will be saving on gas, insurance, oil changes, repairs, etc... i will be able to pay off a lot of debt and/or buy other things that i really want ive already been getting more excercize by walking to places it's good for the environment it's a lot less stressful cause cars are a pain in the ass a lot of the times
Yeah, all the walking and such is good for you... And of course the money saved... I try to walk rather than drive, but mostly just because I enjoy walking... Hehe I haven't bought gas in nearly a month.
no? and yeah, souless... since i lost my car i realized how lazy ive become. i mean, i used to walk all the damn time until i was seventeen and i got my first car and i never minded it then. so yeah, its kinda cool to be "forced" to get some exercize.
thats the great thing about boston, i can walk wherever and not need a car and i have public transportation to get me to where i can't walk... though, i still wish i had a car so that i can get back and forth from school...
I haven't burned maybe 3 or 4 gallons gas total since the war started. Do I get my pc merit badge now?
i do drive, just not a lot. theres no point driving into downtown which is less than 2 miles away and still have to find a parking spot and pay for that when i could just take a bus. sometimes i do drive into a part of downtown, i park in a school parking lot...i only do that when i know i'm doing a lot of shopping. i do drive when i'm going out of the city, since its faster and cheaper to do that than to take public transportation. so i normally just walk and take the T around.
i dunno about the worst, but it can get pretty bad when we have bad weather... in my neighborhood, when you shovel your car out, it becomes "your" spot until most of the snow is gone...so you save the spot with a barrel or chair or something when you leave...now if someone moves the barrel and takes the spot, something will probably happen to that car, maybe a broken tail light... so it can get bad...
