i just started today

i live with my parents, and took 2 seeds from them, they both germinated and i just planted em into papercups today and when they are at work tomorrow im going to get some pots, and i live across the street from a small forest...and me and my friend cleard a small path to a nice spot, and i live out in the country where there is almost never cops and i live next to one old guy who i never see...i just want to know what the best way to go about this whole growing thing...since i know almost nothing about it and this is my first try at growing, and my window has instant roof access and the sun shines into my room from 6:30 in the mornin till 8 or 9 pm, and my parents are gone pretty much all dayany tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated

 

a cleared path is a invite, to walk down it, you are thinking of growing outdoors, YES. you should read as much as you can in this forum

 

i cheked the plants today and a little stem with tiny leaves are clearly visible..im pretty stoked

 

My advice is READ READ READ!!!!! Also do not have a path of any kind leading into your grow place this is just inviting people to walk on it. Also something to think about. Have you studied this area to see if anybody else goes into it. look for signs like trash and what not. I would recommend reading RangerDanger's guirella growing guide here on the forums. It is a pretty good outdoor growing guide.

 

my friend said he's got a fluorescent light that hangs from chains he said i could have, and i already have a spot in my room where i can keep em, hes supposed to bring it by today, and i downloaded a great growing video that has all the specefic heights to put the light and stuff, and the amount of water, pretty much everything, so i think im gonna switch to indoor.

 

i planted mine, two mids bagseeds and one piffy bagseed, i expect them to sprout by tomorrow.

 

Let nature takes its course and let them sprout. The worst thing you can do is become to unpatient. Just sit back spark one up and relax!!

 

oh, i wish i had one to spark up. maybe i do. but i dont even know. trying to save til friday.

 

nvm my friend didnt pull thru with the light...but i was wondering the other night....the seeds i have came from my parents...they get their stuff from my godmother, who grows, she has no males at all only females, and i was wondering if taht means these seeds will be female for sure, also my plants are growing pretty good they are more than an inch anda half tall and the leaves are kinda big compared to its overall size.

yea i looked around for about 4 anda half hours when me and my friend cleared it...its a pretty big forest and i live pretty much in the middle of nowhere with one old guy who lives next to me and he never goes outside...i dont think i know enough to judge if its a really good spot but i think its pretty good, and yea i read rangers guide like 4 times or so...maybe 5, and my friend who helped me clear the path, his brother grows so he knows some stuff about outdoor growin and he is the only person ive told..except for anyone who cares to read this, also i hope ill be able to get pics of my plants on here soon

 

Trust me friend, the best thing you can be doing in your spare time is reading, google outdoor marijuana cultivation. YouTUBE has some videos on it as well, watch them learn all you can. Check out erowid.org as well.

You can not tell the sex of seeds, the only way to know the sex of a plant that you have grown from seed is when it goes into flower. The female will have pistils, or hair like things. The males basically have balls.

 

No the only way they can be 100% female is seed genetic altering. So its a 50/50 chance.

yea i would take pics but i cant find the cord that plugs into the comp....but as soon as i get one i can put pics up

 

GODDAMNIT i got the cord to the camera...and got the pics onto my comp but it wont let me put images on it keeps telling me theyre too large....i say fuck you.......so i want to know...how to put up pics

uhh..i saw a picture of one of my godmothers plants (which one of my plants came from one of her seeds) and its as tall as a doorway and as wide a a doorway on its side....so i dono im pretty sure helicopters would see it...but ive only seen 3 helicopters fly out here in 4 years ive lived here

 

I dont think they are going to use a helicopter to detect a couple of plants. They use those for farms.

 

is there some way to make a an automatic watering thing so i dont have to walk out there a lot and water them...cuz i only want to have to check like once or twice a week...or if going there once or twice a week to water is enough

 

I try and keep a lot of stuff hidden at the grow site(s) so take enough water for a few weeks when you go. I have a few gallon jugs full of water hidden in the weeds.

I think watering once a week is fine.
