Yeah, just one day out of the blue I started taking it black. I've always taken it with milk and more sugar than anyone I've ever seen , but one morning I didn't have any milk, so I decided to just try it black... and it was fine. It's so strange, because I always thought that black coffee was just terrible. It's crazy how you can change virtually overnight like that. I don't love it black, yet, but I can certainly tolerate it without any pain. Heh, I guess cutting out all of that sugar ought to do something good for my health, too. So, do you drink coffee? If so, how do you take it?
I usually drink it black becuase I usually drink coffee to wake me up. It feels like it works better if its real hott and yeah black. and chugging commences. thanks for asking.
i drink it only if i have to. i need sugar and cream in mine. i cant take that stuff black you got balls derek
I always drink my coffee black. I can't really explain why, it just tastes better in my opinion. Plus it's negative calories (i think )
Drinking coffee with milk and sugar is like eating steak with ketchup. I drink coffee to taste the coffee, nothing else. Just like I eat steak to taste the yummy dead cow, and nothing else.
yeah black coffee is delicious. i like the smell and warm feeling when you drink it and its so dark and good. i think just the color makes it more attractive to me, as opposed to the tan colored coffee with milk
But if you hate the taste of coffee, do you just drink coffee out of habit or it's just one way to wake oneself in the morning .. I know i started to drink coffee out of habit but then after discovered the good taste of black coffee. Maybe one day, you shall have this revelation too, who knows
Thats how I am with beer now. I HATED the taste of beer forever, and a few weeks ago I just realized I was drinking it without being all gaggy. Anyway, I drink LOTS of coffee. I usually get a mocha of some sort. I only can have regular coffee if its either 1. containing lots of milk and sugar. or 2. its organic. organic stuff I can drink black (i swear its a different taste)
Yeah, I always hated the taste of coffee (hence the cream and tons o' sugar ), but I drank it to wake up in the morning... and then I started to get addicted, and I would feel like crap if I didn't drink it. And when I would take the first sip in the morning... wow. It was like magic. But then the coffee started to make me sick in the morning. I would gag, and then I eventually started vomiting in the mornings. So I just stopped drinking coffee for a couple of months, and the sickness went right away. Then I got coffee that's made for sensitive stomachs, and now I'm a black coffee man.
thats a disturbing story. did you know i can drink 124 Monster energy drinks before it will kill me? i read so on the internet must be true.
I freaking love black coffee, I have, generally, at least two everyday... when I'm feeling extravagant I do add Kaluha (you know, for a special coffee)... sometimes even EXTRAspecial.
Depends on the coffee. If it's good, then I drink it black. If it's some crappy coffee from a gast station or Denny's or Tim Horton's, then I usually get it 1 and 1.
In the mornings I usually make my coffee nice and strong and add a couple splashes of amaretto creamer. That way I can still taste the coffee, but it has a faint flavor of amaretto too. Can't go wrong with some liqueur in their either. Last stuff I was using was this Paul Masson Mocha Caramel junk I found in a cupboard. It tasted like crap at first, but I starting using it heavily during a coffee creamer drought and grew quite fond of it. Coffee with creamer's like a comfort food with me...my day just can't start smoothly without it. During the afternoons and when I'm at work I usually just drink black coffee, unless I'm having breakfast at work, then I'll add hazelnut creamer and one little thing of half and half.
