i just had a spiritual experience...

while listening to sarah mclaughlan.

seriously though, i was laying back, listening to afterglow on headphones, and everything started spinning, and i was transported through my lifetime, and all the things i was supposed to learn from each situation was suddenly clear as a bell, and all the emotions i never let myself feel i could feel them, all the pain i've felt became peaceful...

it was intense and awesome. lol... oh the places you'll go.

i'm listening to the album again, and it's like, peeling my brain back and i feel like i'm in a matrix training program, doing program after program, learning things i need to do my job...

it's trippy.

I mean, do you think you can describe that kind of clarity you felt in your mind?

 

it was like, all the things i've been confused about or unsure of in my life, why i'm here on earth, why i've suffered pain, etc. etc..... it was like the flash of a camera, illuminating reality in silver moonlight. i saw myself lying on the floor like a little tinkerbell fairy, with large gossamer tie dyed and bejeweled fairy wings. and i heard the words "fragile with strength, delicate with beauty, and unshakable in faith." and for a few minutes, everything was illuminated.

 

isis, that is awesome.... amazing.

i've had some crazy moments like that. one of the most memorable was one where i went through everything in my life and forgave myself for everything that i had done that troubled my soul.

I have this re-occurring dream that feels a lot like that, I've been having this dream since I was a kid.

I have this vision of like, my aura or something, that is a brilliant brown hue mixed in with a white light like the sun shining through it - bursting and beaming out from behind it simultaneously giving it dimension and shape, substance. It's so hard to describe.

But yeah, it kind of feels like I'm rejuvenated and perhaps even re-born in that waking moment. It's almost like I can feel the day beginning and a new world exists for my soul to live through it.

Good for you to have that experience like that. I'm glad you shared your experience.

 

yeah this stuff we got has been very spiritual. last night as soon as it kicked I laid back and got this super clear moment... like when everything comes sharply into focus and these voices started talking to me and taking me through situations and explaining... very similar to nth's experience. it's odd because that stuff never used to happen to me when I was high but somehow this stuff is really good at transporting and channeling if that makes any sense.

 

ari - yeah, i have had dreams like that, usually lucid ones... where i wake up still in the dream and take myself somewhere radiant and incredibly, like a mountaintop looking out into the cosmos, and i allow my soul to be reborn.

jrny - awesome. i started having spiritual experiences on bud when 1) i stopped for a while and then smoked again 2) i started really understanding the psychedelic experience and 3) i became more aligned and spiritually awake. i think it was probably all those 3 things combined that led to the new "tripping." it's CRAZY, you get SO centered and the significance of everything is so abundantly clear. i got to a point where even a nice amount of DECENT bud would take me there, and the amazing dank sent me to the edge of the universe

yeah last night I smoked myself retarded and it wasn't the most fun experience. i was feeling turbulence before I went up and then I was like well if I'm gonna do this I'm gonna do this. so I hit myself high and then kept going a bit just to make sure. it did help clarify a lot of the energies I was feeling. like the sick feeling came from our lovely house mate. he was up and walking around and I could feel these stabbing energies hitting into my kidneys and chest... making me feel nauseous. my family loves to get me like that anyway but his specialty is total second chakra annihilation. made for an interesting ride.

but all of my "friends" on the up side were saying how it's just a matter of time. one of the things that annoys me about being me in this life is that I'm patient and not all that aggressive. it's like hardwired. I have all of these crazy dreams where I'm like killing aliens (think predators) and tramping about the universe or in these knock down drag out hand to hand deathmatches and here I get torn apart by fucking emotions and subtle energies... it's annoying.
