My Aunt & I went to our first weight watchers meeting yesterday morning before work. Now I'm trying to fiure out if I want to use the core plan or the flex plan and keep track of points. Has anyone else tried this?
FLEX plan is based on points, that allows you to eat any food as long as you keep track & control of how much you're eating. There's alot more variety of food to choose from. Foods are assigned a point value based on calories, fat, & fiber grams for a serving size of that food. CORE controls calories by focusing on a list of wholesome, nutritous food from all food groups. For the OCCASIONAL treat you can also eat outside the list in a controlled amount. (35 points a week)
Thats really good. I've lost about 2 more lbs so hopefully by Tuesday I'll have lost a little bit more.
Well we had started out going on Saturdays but then a cousin wanted to go and couldn't make the Saturday meetings so now we all go on Tuesdays. Went last night and lost another 1.2 pounds so know my total is 4.4 pounds lost. I was sorta surprised that I lost at all because there was a few days that I didn't keep track of my points and 1 day during a day off from work that I pigged-out and I know I must have gone over my points.
I started the flex plan like 2 weeks ago and gained .4 lbs....It's gonna be hard for me though because I've been battling with some eating disorders for a year or so now and I have some thyroid problems so my metabolism is all fucked up...Anyway hopefully I'll lose weight next week.
