So good. I would reccomend this to anyone. It was weird, how the movie is about coincidences. I started learning about Existentialism a few weeks before I saw the movie. Sort of a coincidence
its about more than existentialism tho Nihilism Hermeneutics are just some of the other topics that this film delves into
I feel like this movie was like "Closer" (it got great reviews but fucking sucked and was totally hyped up more than need be)
Only saw the second half but it was pretty cool from what I saw. Also sordove a coincedence for me, had someone mention it to me the day before I noticed it on TV. Wouldnt have checked it out otherwise...
I really enjoyed it. Hehe. I just remembered this one part...anyway, it's cute and funny. I hated the whole Jude Law/Huckabees Store plot. I think I would have liked the movie more if it had focused more on (that guy...I have no idea what his name is?) and Mark Wahlberg and all that bit.
I love the character played by Mark Wahlberg! And also the soundtrack written by Jon Brion is really cool! I saw this movie because I found on imdb.com that Jon Brion's music is used in this movie. The same composer wrote music for The Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. The movie itself is normal, but not excellent. maybe I just didn't understand whole sense.
i loved it. when i watched it it definately wrapped me in. and whenever i think of the movie i feel nostalgic feelings
I'm watching it right now...1 hour in, and it's pretty horrible. As a philosophical statement...it was pretty cool, but it keeps trying to be a comedy. It wasn't funny, over dramatic, and pretty pointless overall, but that might be a pun... edit: alright the lady with the funny french accent made up for most of the other stuff  edit edit: alright so the french woman is a nihilist yet she thinks the doorman and Albert are connected? THE PLOT, SHE THICKENS! last edit: fine, despite being over dramatic and pointless throughout, I've been converted. about half way in it got good. The french lady saved the movie, she sets up the existential/nihilist conflict. Also, mudsex.
