ive been trying to find somthing i can put on my hands to make them less sweaty. i have really sweaty hands and armpits some too. the only thing i can find on the internet is drugs or surgery. i was thinking maybe rubbing alcohol, do you think that would work?

Google "dry touch" this may help. I would not have surgery but that's me.

I can understand your logic with alcohol as it's endothermic - the same way nail polish remover evaporates very fast. But I doubt you want to be smelling like alcohol.

I've heard of using chalk the way climbers and atheletes do but it doesn't seem to be enough for some. I suppose it depends on the severity.

    Here's something I found doing a brief search -

    1. Try clapping cornstarch or talcum powder between your palms. Medicated powders are available to soak up moisture, too.

    2. Use an unscented, aluminum salt-based antiperspirant, preferably a product made for palms and feet.

    3. Wipe your palms often on tissues or a hand towel.

    4. Apply aluminum chloride paint to the area for persistent clamminess.

    5. Make an appointment to see your health care provider if over-the-counter remedies don't help. Profuse sweating that occurs at inappropriate times (when you're not hot and you haven't been exercising) is a rare condition called hyperhidrosis.

    6. Get several opinions; some things help some folks and not others.
