Ok, I hate wearing shoes. I think they're evil. But... what I find a little bizarre is people who also hate wearing shoes, but who make a point of proving that to everyone else. I don't mean to sound closed-minded or insulting to anyone, but I'm really just curious is all. Who cares if you took a walk in the woods without shoes? If you like it, then do it. Is it really necessary to create a new thread about it? Sorry, i'm just a little perplexed.
Its just fun to go barefoot and then share the experience with other people. Besides the more people who know we go barefoot then the more will accept it and possibly want to do it too.
Meh, I just tell them some quick pros and cons when some people point out a certain pro of shoes (i.e. protecting the sole of your foot).
No matter what the activity, when people who like doing it meet up with others who like doing it, they will wish to talk about it. It could even be a mundane thing, or what seems to you to be a mundane thing. To them it might be more special, more significant. In a lot of places, people who want to go barefoot meet all sorts of stupid resistance, so it's an accomplishment to get to go barefoot. You could take a look all across Hipforums and find the exact same thing. What about all the people who get together on the marijuana forum to talk about how cool they are for how baked they get? I mean, why single out people who want to celebrate barefootedness? If you can't fathom it, just don't take part. Don't read it. But surely don't question it, as though they have to justify it for some reason. Blue skies, -Jeffrey
I think you've somewhat missed the point here. Think about how daunting it is for some people who want to go barefoot everywhere but are afraid of what people think of them, or afraid that they might hurt themselves. It's a big help to those people to find out they're not alone - it certainly worked that way for me when I first discovered barefooters on the internet and realised I wasn't just a lone weirdo who was getting more and more desperate to avoid shoes. Maybe you had the right attitude and the confidence from day one, and well done you, have a medal - it's not easy. But that's not the same for everyone and it's not arrogant to think that other people might want to read about going barefoot. You'll have noticed that a lot of threads on here are about people sharing related problems and seeking advice etc. Believe me there are VERY good reasons for these sorts of discussion.
I haven't seen too many people talking about how cool they are because they smoke pot on the marijuana forums... In fact, if that were an occurance, I think I'd have to beat them because I don't really like people who smoke bud, or do any use any other substance for that matter, to be/look cool.
That was just a random example. I've no idea how true it is to real life. My philosphy is if it harm none do what you will. And there's no harm is discussing experiences and/or offering advice. And if you don't like seeing all the threads, well you don't have to read them.

Are you asking me? Yes, I have a major foot fetish -- I think they're hot, sexy, cute, pretty... It's an added bonus trait that's hard-wired into my mind... I love all the standard stuff (pretty face, body, persona, etc.) and all the regular sex stuff as well, so since I like feet too, it's kinda like a bonus because not only am I good for satisfying all the regular drives, I also give great foot massages that last as long as ya want! I am not a bear foot person, but you are spot on. A great post, well done. I am a nudist and sleep naked too. But the amount of posts, I read about people that say they are naturists, but get dressed to go to bed, is hard for me to understand. But I don't tell them to change. Each to their own and live and let live.
