So I've been waiting until tomorrow night for my sister and some friends to be able to get our schedules together and come help me backcomb. In the meantime I've been washing with Dr. B's soap and not brushing my hair. and tonight while playing with my hair I found one! I kid you not, I was so excited!:cheers2: So now I'm proceeding to rub it with one of my daughter's wool soakers to help this little knot along. I just wanted to thank you all so much for all your great pieces of advice on doing this naturally. I've got dread wax in the mail but as soon as it gets here it's being trashed. The hubster is gonna hook up our printer tomorrow and I'll get pictures soon!!! Thanks again!
Dont trash the wax do somthing with it. I made little playdo like figures with mine. then trashed it lol. how long havent you been combing.
Thanks guys! I'm gonna google ideas for wax play. lol I haven't been brushing since mid-october, but just started washing in Dr B's like a week ago. Before that it was shampoo and conditioner every other day.
Yeah i wish i hadnt been lazy and got the bronners earlier. I think it helped it lock faster and it just makes my hair feel so good. Even if i wasnt going for dreads i would use it. And i was using dreadhead shampoo sometimes before that, my friend gave me a bottle but i didnt use it everytime i washed cause i had no money and wanted it to last but still, i really dont think that stuff works well at all. At least not for me.
