i painted my last electric one, its was white and pale blue... i covered it in glitter / bows and fairies and stuff... very purty! auctioned it and sold it for more than i bought it for!... regret selling it now though
Mr_13 has quite the nack for that.. turned me from an Sg lover to a flippin Telecaster lover!! May you burn in hell Actually I dont mind.. I love my telelcaster.. It rox.. even tho its bloody green!!
I see you've discovered the James Burton Telecaster, Claire Now do you see what I mean about GAS? You start liking one guitar...before you know it, you *have* to buy it. Then you see another guitar that catches your eye...and it goes on in a neverending spiral :O I currently have my eye on a Fender Nocaster replica...but it's too expensive for me I kind of take comfort knowing that the James Burton Tele is also too expensive for you...$1800
Didn't know you played guitar, Claire! But... you're all clearly deluded! The Gretsch is the king of guitars! It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine ... Oh and I also want a new banjulele as played by George W Formby...
Hey Showmet...didya know that the Fender Telecaster was originally named the Broadcaster...but Gretsch already had an instrument named the Broadkaster (a drumkit if I remember correctly). After a notice from Gretsch, Leo Fender changed the name to Telecaster (after a few months of simply snipping off the "Broadcaster" part of the Fender Broadcaster decal to avoid wasting all those decals already printed)
