how do you go about getting something published? ive been thinking of writing up a diary my mom kept, so i can give it to her as a book for her 60th (which is in 2 years time), but i have no idea how to go about it.. costs/where to get it done/getting a publisher.. do publishers even let you only do a one-off? im a book writing noob..
It's really quite hard to get something published, so if you just want to do it for the novelty of it, then why not try self publishing? Then you won't have to find a publisher. It is, however, expensive.
