Health care costs are lower in other countries compared to America. Even through your free market private insurance you pay for other people. Not only that you pay for a profit. You have to put your trust that someone who if they are a good business man makes money to not make money since he has to what compete with other people selling cancer drugs? That seems as naive as thinking everyone in the goverment is immure from corruption. Those same drugs are so much cheaper in Europe's Socialism since they have to be. That is the where the real ethical health care comes in. When mother govement comes in. They to me as an American also just seem to not care that tax helps people who are not them, which is just not how some Americans think.

It's not easy to get health care as an American. It's even a large expense for travel here as a tourist. If an illegal person uses the health care system and they need it I think it's human decency they get aid. The ER bill you get is not real cost. Under a goverment socialist tax anyone could easily get humane health care. There will be resources for Americans too. We are a large country.

Health care is not really seen as the Orwellian hell right wingers think it is. I'm all for personal freedoms and the goverment not needing to know what I do and think. But I'm also fine with people not going bankrupt because they get sick. You would pay less money if you paid for everybody.

If took a fraction of our military budget and focused on health care it's already in the budget. No one ever questions we need a brand new billion dollar jet. That's in your tax now. A large standing army is always a large expense and to Americans that's more of a priority than a "free" cancer treatment. It's all priories.

The goverment has it's a place in certain areas. The free market and independence is not for every aspect of life. I worry more about how technology can be misused by a goverment not if they tax me so people don't die.
