It depends what situ youre in at the mo in Devon. Are you stable? Do ou have a roof over your head and food for the foreseeable (thats one crazy looking word. Hmm) future, until you can find Devon work? If so Id stay put! Life is far too short to live in loneliness and unhappiness, even for a few weeks. I know what being lonely is like (I still am most of the time) and it sucks. If I had a load of decent close friends and family in an area I liked I wouldnt be shifting! :grouphug: hope you find a way to get what you want
Nothing is worth going back on anti depressants and sleeping pills. If your job makes you unhappy and you are lonely and you have enough money to ditch your job. Do what makes you happy. Good luck with it. Peace

Ooh right Sorry I was all rushed when I read your post and got the wrong end of ze stick Well, Id still stay in Devon. You deserve a few weeks of friends and being home I say Still obviously depends on your work situ...how happy you are in the job and if its really worth quitting for the sake of a few weeks etc
That sounds far more sensible. Also you will be popular at festivals especially if you hand out the downers after everyone did the big night on coke or pills
my advice in situations like this are always to follow your heart. if your that miserable already, i think you already know the answer you desire.
yeah - WALLOW IN IT !! Its good for the soul seriously! Become a Goth its the only way. Or listen to Elbow or Morrissey or the Smiths and get real down there on sad songs. I do it all the time its great Dont go back home it will just invalidate your emotions

also thanks to everyone else. i quit my job and im in devon for another week and a half then going home in time for my fella to get back and get some bloody food in the house so he wont starve, and put the xmas dec's up of corse. ive applied for another 5 jobs so fingers crossed and yey to a months freedom!
