i catch so much heat at school (i'm 17) for being a well known lsd user. It gets such a bad rap and there is so many misconceptions bout it and im in a constant arguement about it over my friends. Basically im venting so wut r ur guys thoughts about it. And one quick question lsd doesnt really put holes in ur brains does it, cuz i heard that but never read it
Man, my best friends criticise me for taking it (IT PUTS HOLES THROUGH YOUR BRAIN!!!). They even laughed when I said I had had an acid flashback once. Some people are just unwilling to accept LSD. And the problem is, you can't really explain it. My friends keep asking me what it's like and I find that I have no words to describe the experience except my feelings during a trip which is already complicated enough. A lot of people are unwilling to accept psychoactive drugs. That's just how it is because society has been putting a big fat 'TABOO' sticker on it since the 60s. As hard as it is dude, just ignore your friends comments. Eventually they'll let it go as long as you yourself don't make a big deal out of it.
I think i have answered a question like this be for But seriously the only thing you can do is open up around or two on there asses.
Gently point them to erowid.org. While you're at it, point yourself there and get edumacated, so when they say "It eats holes in your brain," you can tell them, with all authority, that it doesn't. Here's Erowid's "LSD Myths" page, for starters. http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_myth6.shtml Enjoy your mind!
yea man i know what u mean. One of my friends is all for weed, salvia, shrooms but wont touch acid.. The only reason he wont is cuz its a chemical its not "naturally grown". Idk i just kinda let him do his thing. If i were u, i would say to ur friends that u did the research and u chose to try it. Also yea i would take the advice to show them erowid, that site is really helpful. Just explain to them that they dont have agree with you but they gotta accept who you are and if they dont well they arent your real friends
