As sick and sad as the title sounds, I really do. He's not actually my cat, but he might as well be. I took him from my sister's ex bf, who didn't take care of him, but it was originally her cat, but she couldn't take care of that cat. Needless to say, I got him in conditions that he should never have seen.

Wellllll, he was sweet at first, you know, when he was bleeding all over and his paws were the size of grapefruits. After the meds kicked in, the fun started. He was, before my time, a tomcat. A tomcat who wasn't neatured. He is now, though. Anyways, the fun started with him spraying all over. I got him neutered and that seemed to fix that.

Welllll, I have the meanest cat EVER. My mornings start with him attacking me in bed. It's not a cutsie batting with his paws. Nope, it's him jumping on my legs/feet and clawing the crap out of me and indulging himself in my flesh.

He attacks my dog. He usually goes for her face. He'll claw and bite at her face. She's a 90 lb dog and he's 11 lbs. She can't eat her food, because he wants her food and wont leave her alone. For the reference, he has all the cat food he wants. She is totally freaked by him. Actually, we both are. I am scared of a cat, yes a cat. I have to avoid my living room because that's where he is the worst.

To top it off, he's sooo attention needy. I thought cats weren't like this?!? I trip all over him. He'll rub up against me and jump into my lap, but if I dare pet him, he attacks me. I don't even like to move in bed, because he likes to sleep on my legs and if I move too much, I get it from him. He's such a brat.

He jumps on counters, and everytime I open the fridge, he jumps in. I cannot discipline this cat.

Anyways, remember when I said he isn't technically mine? I will be leaving soon, and he can't come with. My sister knew about this, and I agreed to keep him until she found him a home. She hasn't even looked. So, I will have to find him a home, and I'm afraid it's going to be impossible unless his behavior changes. The local animal shelter has an abundance of cats, nice cats.

So yeaahhhh, anybody want a cat?!

    Maybe an ad on criagslist?

I feed all the neighborhood cats at night in the field and hope the coyotes get them; they haven’t been getting very many lately.

Too much other food this time of year I guess.:-(

Aww ... sounds like he loves you! My cat attacks me in bed, follows me around...
basically 95% of what u said.
When I say "what the fk?" hes like "meoooooooooow"
Im like" well? what do u want?"
    hes like "meoowwwwwwwwwww"
We definitely have a communication issue.
I wish I could take your cat, I would.

my cat behaves like that a little, but not as much. hes very sweet and needy most of the time, but every once in a while its like he turns on me and hisses and attackes me. i dont really know much about cat behaviour, but his angryness goes away after a while. he also attacks my dog, but only when my dog tries to use his cat door lol. he will sit there waiting for petey to stick his head thorugh and then start swatting him. its pretty funny. but your kitty sounds like much more of a handful. anyway, hope you find a solution and if i find out anything that helps, ill tell you.

Could you make him an outdoor cats? I suppose it depends on where abouts you live. But a lot of cats live outdoors quite happily and are clever enough to keep themselves safe and just come back for food

I hope you are able to find him a good home and a great natural pheromome based product called "Feliway" might help calm him down making him more attractive to both you in the interim and any perspective new guardian in the future. I have found the plug-in feliway diffuser works the best and is reasonably priced too for under thirty dollars and you can learn more about it at www.catfaeries.com

Best of luck to you and that wild cat too!

Sounds like the trauma got to him.
Mine's a rescue as well. They found him in a dumpster all cut up and brused. He had so many flees he was animic. This was when he was a month old! His behaviors sound alot like your cats. Super needy and sweet quite a bit of the time, but when he gets grumpy he'll beat up on my girlfriend's cat and take swats at us. I've used a spray bottle with really great results, but I try to keep the behaviors from happening at all. I've found that a good 15 minutes a day of intence one on one time makes him satasfied socialy and all but stops his aggression. I also try to limit the number of people in the apartment at one time as I've noticed that crowds (more than three people he doesn't know) tend to make him a little crazed.
I've put alot of work into him, and it's payed off. He's the best cat I've ever had.

It doesn't sound like you have the time to do all that though. You might try a cat specific rescue group. Many are no-kill and some have special accomodations for special needs cats. Find one and explain his situation. Don't feel guilty about not placing him yourself, it does sound like he would be difficult to find a home for, and the people who run these programs have resources that you don't.
