I hate it, HATE IT when women wear foundation.

Actually, I pretty much hate any makeup.

But mostly foundation. Sometimes you meet these really pretty lightskinned girls with orange faces. And they're usually like twelve when they do that so you know their short so you just kinda wanna dye their hair green, and start singing some willie wonka songs.

Like seriously, what is the fucking point? You're supposed to be covering up acne, while giving yourself acne? Come on. If you're so embarrassed about a couple of stupid pimples, just remember: Soap, Water, Toner, Moisturize with oil free lotion. Come on. Putting more shit on your face isn't going to help.

I actually like mascara until people put the crap on so thick it's clumping in their eyeball. Or when they rub their eyes and theres shit all over there eyes.

I hate lipstick cause it peels off. ok, my business sells lipgloss but that's different. And our foundation is totally different cause it's a powder that helps your skin and doesn't make it look all weird..

By the way a lot of lipsticks have fish scales in it.

 

why does it matter to you so much what other people choose to do to their bodies or put on their faces? it's obviously unattractive, and most likely they're trying to cover up their real selves by putting on a wierd mask... and i find that sad, but what's causing the anger over it? just curious... seems strange to get all bent out of shape over what someone else is doing, unless they're like... smearing it all over you.

 

If they have foundation on right,you wouldn't even know.

 

i happen to think make-up, when done tastefully, can be really beautiful.

i don't wear it to try to cover up who i really am, i wear it because if i dont wear at least some concealer under my eyes, i look like a poor white chick on a crack binge. Seriously. When i skip concealer, everryone is like "are you okay?" "did you stay up ALL night last night?" "man, you look sick".

I use moisturizing foundation that you can't even see. it actually helps my skin.

Yeah I've never liked makeup.

First off I think it cheapens real beauty and for all teh faker ugly girls they're FAKE and that just pisses me off.

Plus it's also annoying because when girls use blush and you go to kiss them you'll get some blush on your face and then you have to wipe it off but you still feel some sticky on your face AHH DAMNIT!

Women shouldn't use makeup. Period.

 

I think I mainly hate it cause my mom went to beauty school.. and so that kind of beauty to me sounds.. superficial? I suppose. But it does! It smears on my futon, it smears on my very expensive comforter, which is hell to take to the dry cleaners.. with lipstick and weird orange foundation I don't know why it might just be me, it's just like auuuuuuuuuhhHH~~!!!!!

It's a major pet peeve, like when a guy leaves the seat up.

I agree with Maximus to a point.. but I dont think the girls are ugly lol, I think everyone is beautiful and they shouldn't feel the need to hide who they are, or bring out what they really have. If you look different, you're unique, and that in itself is beautiful.

 

the only time i wear makeup is when i dress hot (not very often). otherwise, just bonnie bell lipsmacker

I think women wear foundation because society has made us feel that the way we are naturally isn't quite good enough. I don't wear makeup anymore unless I am going out (rarely these days with 2 babies) and I think if it is done right, and not packed on, it can be very feminine and lovely.

Just my thoughts on the subject..

1. Foundation that won't turn your face orange, and will help your skin while you wear it.
2. Lipgloss, which is not made of fish scales, is vegan, and won't tear your lips up and go everywhere. And actually will help your lips.
3. Organic/Vegan cosmetics that will bring out natural beauty and destroy the evil flaws.

It doesn't get everywhere.

It doesn't irritate me when all women where foundation but when they look like oompa loompas.

 

when I see a girl puttin' on make up every single day it pisses me off too....

why? I mean, yeah freedom. let 'em be.

when you have discoloration-( from allergies,roseacia,age spots)
,scars , or birthmarks
maybe you will have more sympathy for those whose use foundation just to look average,and feel confident.


I will agree about people who throw on pounds of visible foundation ,thats gross

. ..but my skin is HORRIBLE. ..and i know people with worse, whose confidence is greatly improved by just being able to mask flaws,not feel like every one is staring at their just flaws,and not get asked "what is that on your face?".

I agree to a certain extent, like when girls have on foundation where you can actually see the line where it stops. But you have to remember people shouldnt be judged on what they wear or look like. Its hard sometimes not to judge but, i dunno. Also Finnish, you contradicted yourself in your statements.

You're write i did contradict myself, I should clear that up. I meant the beauty that people don't see themselves who are wearing the foundation in the first place.

If it was up to me, I wouldn't sell it. But the good thing about it is it heals the skin so people won't even need it anymore....

However, drinking enough water everyday and a healthy diet is the perfect way to clear up skin. What people don't realize is a lot of makeup contains paraben, and that is a chemical that mutates the hormones. :-/ Which sucks.

Also sunshine, your nose piercing looks cute.. I remember when I had mine done, that little thing on the inside that sticks out and looks like a silver booger... oy, i hated that thing so much.

Who was talking about the eyes though? I'm on firefox so I can't look at two, but if you have baggy eyes there is a thing called collagen capsules. They fix the whole eye thing, and they also help with your skin.. a lot of stuck up celebrities use it but it is also supposed to increase your energy before working out and stuff too. Pretty tight.

 

well i need to meet a girl with the common sence from what finishbutterfly just said.

i have always thought, which i guess is why i dont mess with girls who paint there face. why do you wear that shit? grrrr, i dont want to be with women who look like clowns. so many girls say "well it looks good on certain occasions." which for most seems to be a LOT of fucking occasitions. ok now get in your head im likein you for you and i can see your face THROUGH all that. but then again a lot of men are complete idiots and dig that shit.

natural things that are a pain to deal with, and look bad,that do suck, but, that doesnt mean PAINT your face. women are beautiful i say go all naturall. unless you just had face SURGERY ok i will accept if its that bad.

 

If it's done well so you can't see it or the orange face, it's just horrible some women put it on their face everyday. I don't like it on men either :tongue:

 

I don't like seeing a lot of makeup on women, and I only wear a cream blush myself (because I'm pale), but I think people should do what they wanna and it is fun to put some on for special occasions and such.

I don't think anyone needs foundation though, even if they have skin issues. I don't think it helps much, just worsens the problem and makes the skin look bad. I don't mind looking at a few blemishes.
Have you seen celebrities without their makeup? A lot of them look like shit. It might be caused by other factors but I think a lot of the skin problems are caused by wearing thick foundation all the time.
Keeping skin clean and moisturized is the key.
