I hate fake hippies

Does anyone else get pissed when someone thinks that just because they smoke pot and listen to Zeppelin they are a hippie? It pisses me off so bad...there are so many kids at my school who think that because they buy some fucking prarie skirt from walmart, they are so "earthy" and cool". I consider it insulting....just because you smoke pot you are a hippie? (I'm not saying smoking is bad......hehe) I just wish that fake hippies would like get a clue, get informed, take action....something! I think our generation should go back to the old hippie ways, make an effort to change the world and have a hell of a trip along the way. Who's with me?!?!

I am with you here. Personally I can not stand all those people who think they are so hippy, but in reality they are not.
Fake hippies are pathetic and they need to get a life.

 

I guess I should have explained myself better...I hate it when people think they are hippies because of what they wear and their drug intake and use the word as a label. I don't hate the actual people. I don't hate anyone really.

As for my hippiness, whatever. If you like to judge people and that's your thing, go for it.

i think using the term "hippy" is ok to describe other people, like they are the hippy kind with their long hair, smoking pot and what not, but it is really stupid when kids go around proclaiming that they are hippies when they really arent hippies at all.

 

rnt u actually labeling and judging "them" by calling them fake in the first place... u need to relax lady, let them b whoever they want to be, theres to much hate in this word already. if a true hippie u shouldnt be hating anyone for who they r, fake or not.

 

I just think I could have a little more respect for people if they were into it more for the activism than for the fashion trend, or the drugs.
