I hate being shy

It makes for a boring life.

Honestly I don't care anymore I'm just gonna say whatever the hell I want.

 

That's the way to go, just get over it.

i think if you actually got over your shyness, youd start seeing men around you become the shy ones, P.A

 

there's a difference between being shy and realizing that some people just don't deserve to hear what you have to say.

 

yes there is. theyre so completely differnet that a person in teh latter bracket would not call themselves shy

 

oh c'mon bill, haven't you ever been around people and trying to think of what to say, and you realize you can't because the conversation is so stupid?

i used to be shy until i realized shyness was conceited. and i don't wanna be conceited! that sucks.

I work my way around being shy, but just doing what I need to do

i know what you mean. im so shy, and i never engage in social activities unless someone asks me to (which is rare ) I just feel like people dont want me around unless they ask me to be there..

 

well, you're so wrapped up in your own feelings and your own belief that other people just don't get you or dont' understand you. so you get really shy around people. you don't wanna give people the opportunity to hurt your feelings, and secretly believe they will do so because you've blown up your importance in your own world. it's just narcissism with a guilt trip.

 

err i disagree with that completely. some people just genuinly want to be liked, and are afraid of being left out. i think its the exact opposite. you lack self confidence so youre unsure how other people will recieve you.
