In December, I got a horizontal clit hood piercing. After a few weeks, I noticed it looked crooked. The crookedness slowly became more obvious until yesterday I noticed that there was only about ¼ inch of tissue holding on the ring. It had migrated. I took it out to prevent any further damage and scar tissue. I don’t think there’ll be a scar.

The websites I looked at said it should be ok to get it redone. I’m going to go to a different peircer (didn’t like the original guy), and use a larger gauge ring in 24k gold. That should prevent it from migrating out again.

I’m sad. [IMG] I liked my ring.

eh, i would stay away from the gold. but yeah, the larger gauge should definitely help. have you thought about having it done vertically?

I thought about it, but I don't really care for the look, plus I don't think I'd enjoy the sensation. I don't like direct clitoral stimulation. I'm too sensitive.

Not really. There was an initial shock, but that's all. The shock wasn't even pain, just a reflex. It was sore of course, but not much. The worst was when I made the mistake of using KY Warming Liquid before it was completely healed. BIG mistake! After I took a bath and rinsed it out, it was ok again.
