He had the money, he probaly just wanted it to go away. Even if you commit a crime as serious as that, buying them off isn't your get out of jail free ticket. If the evidence was there, the D.A. would have nailed his ass. I know you probably hear of a lot of corruption in our big cities, but all the cities in Los Angeles county are pretty good about keeping corruption out. I'm not saying it is totally free of corruption, but pretty close compared to other cities such as cities in New York and New Jersey.

I don't know about pedo. It may just be that he only feels safe around children and doesn't find them sexually attractive... I don't know if that's a crime or not. I think I'd stop before letting another person's kid in my bed. But I suppose if you're thinking, "Well, it's nothing sexual. Purely innocent." Then it might seem unreasonable not to?
