On the spur of the moment, I got my triangle piercing today. It hurt a LOT, but it looks really good. I have to do a fitness test (mile and a half run) a week from today, so I hope it isn't too sore by then.

A triangle piercing is a female genital piercing. It's like a horizontal hood, but deeper. The horizontal hood sits above the nerve bundle, and the triangle goes underneath it. I've now had both. My horizontal one migrated. Since the triangle is deeper, it's pretty unlikely it'll migrate.
Owwwwie! I'm so swollen! I was going to take my son to a movie today, but instead I parked my butt in front of the computer with a bag of ice on my crotch! I know this is totally normal for such a deep piercing and it will go away in a couple of days. It's really not that sore. It hurt when I cleaned it and moved it, but as long as I leave it alone, I'm good. I can't wait till the swelling goes down - it's going to look awesome!
Oh man, you are a much braver person than I. lol. I hope the pain and swelling goes away before you have to do that fitness test.
It's been a week. The swelling is mostly gone, just a bit left on one side, with a little bit of soreness there. The bruising is gone and it looks AWESOME! I can tell that it's not healed inside when I press down on it, because it's very sensitive and sorta sore inside, but I wouldn't expect it to be healed inside so quickly. It's doing great. I'm keeping it clean. Let's hope this one doesn't migrate! BTW, I passed my test! Just to be on the safe side, I slathered the sore area with lidocaine before I ran. I couldn't feel anything. And I did it! Yay me!
