oh.. its sooo Hot! i love it! its a Gibson, Les PAul(no i cant spell) model and sooo SOOOO RAD! its red and shiny and yeah.. wow!!! i Love it, is amazing. ok, youll probly think im crazy, but really i can feel the soul and spirit of the guitar, it has many many names and is ever changing like me, so its name is Kaliedescope which mean those little things with the mirrors and colours.... but Also it means constantly changing so ya! and i got an Amp! so yay!!!! WOWW! this iss soo amazing my First guitar!! ive been like borrowing one and yeah! wow!!
uhh.. sure..dont do the whole Pete Townshend smashing guitar thing with it.. yeah, i didnt want to get a Fender Strat cause they go out of tune really fast cause of the Wammy bar and i dont need one so ya...
fenders suck!!!!!!!!!! someday when im rich i want to get a collings jumbo acoustic, thats my dream guitar.
I've got a Fender Strat, Tele, and a Gibson Les Paul... I really don't know which I like better. To tell you the truth, my Les Paul goes out of tune more often then the strat does. It also has a pickup short at the neck and it makes it sound like it's going to melt my friggin amp sometimes. To tell you the truth, I like my Strat's neck profile, it's got a V neck since it's a reissue. First thing I did to it was cut the tones and volumes from the circuitry and fired the pickups directly to the jack output. I've snapped off 9 tremolo bars to date and have had to drill them out of the tremolo block so now i've refrained to taking one and cutting the bit that goes into the block so it doesn't break off and I just gorilla glued it... I can always replace the tremolo block. And yes, I want my strats to be pieces of shit so I can prove hot shots with their P.O.S. B.C. rich made in korea bronze series warlocks etc. that a strat can get the job done. Les Paul can as well but that's pushing it. My les paul actually gets way more feedback than the strat since I hand wound a reverse coil for noise cancelling and added it to the circuitry. I put in a tele neck pickup at my strat's neck. I really need to do a set up on it, the strings are about an inch off of the fretboard. I'm going into guitar luthiery when I get enough money saved up for parts. Going to build a strat.
I have just an acoustic(Hofner) but I want an Epiphone G-310. My dream guitar is Angus Young's Signature Gibson, that thing is bad ass.
i must admit i find this thread a bit sad (boo hoo way) my first guitar was a combined birthday/christmass present and i was 7 (8 on my birthday ) and i loved it it was prolly £40-50 what's all this shit about makes? if you can't play it then it ain't gonna make a difference what the hell you've got it's not what you've got, its what you do with it that counts this isn't an attack on you personaly, im glad you've got a present you love so much, but please remember you are lucky. this summer i'm gonna have to work every hour i get to try and save money so i don't go into too much debt, and there's people who are spoilt at the uni i'm hoping to go to you see them, living in mummy and daddys holliday home, renting the spare rooms out so they don't have to work and getting paychecks because mummy and daddy love them so much and they were so fucking great to get into the university. i wonder how many home tutors they've had? jesus the wealth makes me sick sorry for the rant, but some twat at my local (pub) just came in and was just being so rude/ignorent/stupid
But what about taking into account that you can play it and you do have it. The thing I can't stand most is people who have guitars and don't play them... hey... if you're not going to play them, I could always use another or use one for spare parts to build a new guitar
I've got a guitar my dad's friend built me... And I feel like I should give it to someone almost because I dont think I'm really a guitar person, and that guitar is really amazing. Every other instrument I've ever played I've picked up at least something real quick and have been a speedy learner, but that click just never happened in the year and a half I've had my guitar. I really love it though, I love trying it no matter how bad it is... I'm so happy for you Willow! Really It's grea to have such a way to express yourself... Enjoy it! Are Fender amps any better than Fender guitars?
I've got a Fender guitar case and I'm quite happy with it! Hhe, otherwise, I say Ibanez! I've got acoustic, electric and amp, all by Ibanez! Hehe, Love, Borut
My band uses mainly Fenders, the only higher-quality thing we can afford within the price range of a teenage band. Now I just gotta get a Fender bass and we'll be set! We use Stone amps though... they really kick ass!
Martin D-35 Fender Strat/Tele Gibson Les Paul 1960 RI Fender Amps I'm a traditionalist But I wouldn't mind a new $10,000 Breedlove
Wow, I origiannly wanted a electric, but now that I have an acoustic, I think I love acoustics more, even though my string broke on Sunday . If I was to get a electric it would definately be a Gibson Les Paul. Right now I have a $200 Oscar Schmidt by Washburn. I like it .
yeah, i do think that Les Paul's look cooler, i mean.. yeah.. and yes i can play guitar...id be kinda dumb if i couldnt play and then just had a guitar to gather dust..... yeah... music is really great and yeah... Everyone have a nice day!! i Love you!
and yes Kier i agree, it really doesnt matter if someone has a 5 million Guitar signed by Bob Dylan, if they cant Play shit. and If someone doesnt have a guitar and can play Guitar with his/her teeth, it doesnt matter if they have a guitar really..
Wow, $5,000,000 is a lot for a guitar. And to think that some people are homeless and starving. What a world we live in. -Peace
