I started writing one of my books tonight. I'm writing it in play forum so I don't have to do all that puncutation crap lol. I know my editor will just love that!. Oh by the way, I found an editor that will read my work when I'm finished, for free. I'm so happy. Happy happy, joy joy!!
way cool, and another idea is set it up as an ebook that can be dl off a site, no hard costs to deal with then.
Well I heard about the self publishing thingy that allows you to make money first. I'm hoping to make a few bucks lol. I hope someone will want to buy it.
just offer that tease bit of whats inside like any good marketing and it makes em crave the whole thing. I think that is how they hook us all on movies, books ect.
I'm trying. The motivation to write has been slow in coming but once I get started good I'll really think of some good stuff. I did have a scene in this particle book that I thought was funny. (Maybe not for impressionable people to try but funny.) One of the characters with a very bad tamper decides to take said temper out on a defenseless toilet by using a sledgehammer. She hits it just enough to loosen it from the foundation, drags it to the window and tosses it into the street. (It leaked and she was probably hung over so it was making too much noise for her tastes.) Needless to say there were quite a few repercussions. I might need to research this before adding it to my book. I'm sure I can find someone that will indulge me lol. (Not)
Yeah I want to start writing a book soon as well, but I just cant get started, I dont know how to start, so I'm gonna leave it for a bit.
Just start daydreaming. Think of stuff that interests you and write it down. Think about funny sad or other situations that make you want to write.
I have a relative that used to write till he passed away, very much published, many awards, also did political cartoons and one of his books became a movie. I never met the man, something to do with differences in the family back in my grandfathers day, still was kinda cool as being its a strange last name and alot of his books were kids books while in school (grade school) his books are always on that schoolastic list back then so other kids would like turn to me and teachers would ask me about it, lol. A childhood friends mom writes, or did write those kinda smut books and me, well I have not the patience to write a thing.
Oh yeah this is what I do normally, I normally get a craving to write something so I do, but I wanna write a story, a novel or something I got some sort of a plot etc, I just cant seem to get started.
if i day dream, 80,000 pounds of truck and goods is gonna be self driven and that normally ends up a mess, lol
