i have wedding anniversaries and a mortgage and a lot of the actors i used to love are dead.

man this is depressing. no wonder my parents are all stressed out all the time.

oh no... now i can sympathize with my parents... this is tooo scary.

    lol........
I remember feeling the same. It is not scary to grow old, the alternative is worse.
I couldn't imagine the number of celebrities i like who have died in my lifetime. Way too many. And the ones I used to watch when they were little are now middle aged, like Janet Jackson, Kurt Russell, and Jody Foster.
Remember mortgage is based on the root words, mort - death, and gage - pledge, so just think of it as a deathpledge.
We are as old as we feel.

you think YOU feel old? I'm only 18 and I have yearly anniversaries, a mortgage, I'm running a business, and I'm caring for my mom as if she were my little sister. I embrace my life though. I've lost more friends than I should have by now, and the ones that are left live like kids, no job, no worries. It gets to me sometimes, but then again- would I really like it if I lived like them? I'm proud of all i do for myself and all I've accomplished. If you are really down in the dumps plan a little getaway. Treat yourself. And you really are as old as you think. think younger!! You have a long life ahead of you. I hope you don't look back one day and think- wow I spent all this time complaining about how old I felt and now I am and missed my chance to live life to the fullest.

That would suck. I want to look back and be proud!

'How old would you be if you didn't know how old you was?' Jackie Robinson
Nobody lying on their deathbed says, " I wish I had spent more time working. "
Live each day to its fullest, put no faith in tomorrow, it may not come.

What are ya gonna do when you're in your 40's? Have a few kids?
Age is just a number..can either be a lottery number or the old draft number. Just live everyday to the fullest as if its the last day you'll ever have.

Do not resent growing old. Many are denied the privilege.

    George Bernard Shaw:
It's all that the young can do for the old, to shock them and keep them up to date.

    Henry David Thoreau:
None are so old as those who have outlived enthusiasm.

    Bernard M. Baruch:
To me old age is 15 years older than I am.

    George Bernard Shaw:
We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing!

    John W. Turk:
We have no simple problems or easy decisions after kindergarten.

    William Dean Howells:
You'll find as you grow older that you weren't born such a great while ago after all. The time shortens up.

    Frank Lloyd Wright:
Youth is a circumstance you can't do anything about. The trick is to grow up without getting old.

I sometimes feel that way, but it only lasts a few minutes. And then other times I feel as though I am still a kid and cant believe I am in my mid twenties..
