My boyfriend was away for 2 nights working in NYC and both nights I slept better than I had in a while. But both nights I had dreams that lasted all night and they were about one of his friends. Both nights it was like the same dream continuing and we were trying to get away from people to be with each other. I know dreams aren't cheating but I feel bad and it think it's odd that the dream continued the way it did. I have an innocent crush on this guy, but I love my boyfriend. I hope my subconscience isn't telling me something. Dreams are so hard to explain. I feel like an idiot reading what I typed. It felt deeper than the way it's coming out. What are some of your opinions?
well maybe you do have a crush on your boyfriends friend...you love your boyfriend and i wouldnt brake up with him over this crush because crushes dont last very long...love is a lot stronger, this dream might be just be telling you that you have a crush on your boyfriends friend, but i would just wait it out and dont feel bad because this feeling might dissapear
well, obviously. I'm not going to trash a relationship over a dream. Sorry, I was hoping from an answer from someone older and a little more knowledgable about dreaming. I was asking about the weirdness of the dream continuing all night, both nights as if ther were never a break.
I think dreams like that can be healthy because in a way you get to act out things and feelings in dreams that you would never be able to do in real life. It's probably your minds way of dealing with this little crush since you can't deal with it ( cause you have a boyfriend) in waking life. Dreams like that can be fun
Maybe, even though you slept better (you'll have to ask yourself why) you still missed him. When it comes to love, we all want a possessive love, but love cannot be possessed nor forced. One who loves can love another at the same time. Perhaps you saw it as a chance (temporary freedom) to taste another fruit. Or it could be that you have a psychic connection and your bf was cheating on you. (I doubt it). (What a horrible thing to say. Heaven forbid!) People in dreams usually do not connote that person. What you are seeing is a temptation coming your way. It will probably be from a person who reminds you of your crush. Now that you know it is coming - what are you going to do?
