If someone has no idea at the time they are intimate that they are or could be HIV positive then it is an error and both parties are unaware. For someone to know and then to possibly infect another person is just wrong. I feel badly for the ones who now could be facing this for the rest of their lives, not for an idiot who does not care about the well being of everyone else. If he is positive, then use protection and inform anyone who he is going to have a relationship with. There are many HIV positive people who are in a relationship where their partner is not HIV. They accept that risk and that is fine as they know the risk.

Why exactly would you think that people who no longer had to be concerned with catching the worst STD of them all any longer would be Lonely? Hell Herpes wouldn't be a big deal to them any longer. And frankly, I think in cases where someone knowingly infects another, they should also be preemptively charged with killing any of the "trickle-down" Infected as well.
That's true...well I definetly think he should be punished for this. These womens lives could potentially be ruined if they contracted the disease...but come on the guy has HIV (not AIDS) you can't help but feel like he just couldn't tell them..like he was ashamed or something. Who knows.. I know what he did was terrible!! Disgusting even. But...I feel bad for him, and feel ever worse for the women he might have infected.
I read a really good comic once about a guy who gets HIV and then starts being promiscuous and kinky after being reserved all his life. When he eventually confronts the woman that gave it to him, she's horrified that he's active. It was by this really good artist, Joseph Michael Linsner, and was in a collection that was admittedly too dark and angry and youthful =P
That guy is horrible and should be sentenced to have HIV+ tattooed on his forehead. The women are stupid. USE A CONDOM FFS, PEOPLE.
The whole thing is really sad. And the trend of charging HIV+ people with sexual assault or attempted murder does not sit well with me. Something is not quite right about it.

I'm not sure what to make of this. It's lonely, but not the end of the world anymore. It can be controlled with drugs and people can still live a relatively stable life. With the use of the internet it's probably much easier to find love with somebody else who has HIV also, thus, counteracting the problem. Why this man has sex with negative women without protection, that's beyond me. I don't feel sorry for him, that's consciously ruining somebody else's life. It's not something you would wish on another person, surely?

Wonder why denialists who don't have HIV such as Peter Duesberg have never gone on an orgy with HIV infected people as a show of faith for their denialism. Duesberg once said he would inject himself with HIV at a public gathering as a show of his faith in his stance but chickened out. .
I remember acting out a case as a student where a guy who knowingly had HIV slept with a woman who then contracted it herself, it was based on a real case where the guy was then convicted of manslaughter. I was the Defence Barrister and got the guy convicted - I was proud of myself having defeated a friend who was prosecuting!
