I used to get so wet before sex that I actually once googled it to see if there was something wrong with me lol. But now I couldn't be any more dry if I tried. I'm turned on but nothing happens. I think it's because of some medication I'm on. The thing is though is that I have a new boyfriend and I have been putting off sex for so long that I know it is getting him seriously frustrated. I don't know how to drop into conversation that I need lube to enjoy sex because I'm so dry. I know this might seem so minor and ridiculous but I'm just so embarrassed. Sex is something that is very important to him and I know that we are getting to the point where it's gonna happen. I want to be with him but I just don't wanna embarrass myself. How do I bring it up?
Have you had your hormones checked by an MD? Have you started or stopped using hormonal birth control? How to bring it up? "Do you know how good it will feel if I rub this lube all over your cock?" or something along those lines might be a good approach.
I have trouble imagining any male being put off by this issue. It's why they invented sex lube, afterall.
Tell him what's going on. This is an issue that I'd NEVER make a girl feel ashamed about it's a medical issue. Heck I'd be happy that mentally she's willing and the only barrier to sex is a lube problem, it's easily fixable.
I wuold say just go to give your boyfriend a handjob and get out some lube. Lube isn't like condoms. Lube can be hot.
I've never been able to get wet, even after I come. I'm a desert. I've always had to use lube, even after my husband and I stopped using condoms, I still need it. It's never been an issue with us. I will admit though, that it's a pain in the ass, especially when it falls behind the bed and you have to stop everything and look for it But seriously, I don't see how or why it would be an issue.
Considering he is thinking there are other issues for you not wanting to have sex, I would think he will be relieved. It's a medical issue, not about him. Just buy lube, tell him, then get busy.
