In all my dreams if i try to do something i want to do everything just gets fucked up. Like say im on the computer in my dream and i want to go to a certain site, well i start typing it in and the letters on the keyboard change up or the comp gets froze and turns off. If im going to try to have a conversation my tounge gets tied and throat dry and i cant talk. Or im trying to get to some place or someone and i keep getting sent in the opposite direction or gt there and what iwas coming for is never there. What could this mean? i always feel like this in real life to and start to have that feeling of those dreams where something is blocking me from my goal. so any explanations?
wow, that is a hard place to be! well i would say that whatever your goal is at the moment is out of your control. i don't know what i mean but i just think that you should put everything on your terms, let it come to you. does that make sense or am i just blabing?
Mmm. Following on from what tiger child said... perhaps 'trying' is not what you should be doing? Perhaps things ARE out of your control and you need to surrender to what IS? Our egos tend to try and change things to the way we want them to be. There is humility in acceptance and you may find things change for the better if you stop TRYING to CONTROL things. Find the difference between your needs and wants Just let whatever happens happen. Free your mind from it and be content with what is. If trying is causing you pain and frustration, then it's the trying that is causing the problem.
its not like i have big goals in life i cant do... its just little tasks i want to do just get so fucked up and turn into a big mess. in life and dreams, i especially hate it in dreams, cause theres so much shit to do like in lucid dreaming but even then everything just gets fucked up.
When you no longer have that problem in your dreams then you'll know that you no longer have that problem in real life. So, use it as a trigger, to let you know that you are having a dream. Then ask yourself what you can do to fix it. Follow the dream advice in your real life.
I've had only one experiance where I actually became lucid, but I was unable to controle what I could do in the dream, I was simply aware that I was dreaming. Many people confused lucid dreaming and dream controle, very different. This may be your problem. You seem to be using dream controle to some extent, I mean, you're acknowloging that you want to do something specific and you're attempting it, but it's not working. Try doing things that are more simple, like turning on a light switch, or if you're like underwater or something, try breathing. Then again.. Could it be that you're not supposed to be doing it and your mind is trying to protect you from it? Lucid dreams and dream controle are no joke, they're very serious and experts actually reccomend that you stay away from trying it unless you have a very firm grip on reality. They say it can become a strong addiction, because of the endless possibilities a dream has to offer, like for example, being able to fly. I suggest you do a lot of research if you plan to try again next time you're lucid. Any how, good luck with that, let us know if anything changes
you litterally can't push the river, but you can choose what flow to go with. trying to make things happen by their symbols in this life we're awaike in doesn't usually work. it's sort of like "don't try. do!" forget typing in a url for example. instead it's all subconscouse directed, like psionics. i do computer stuff in my dreams all the time, but its more like point and click psionicly then entering anything on the keyboard. it's all probablistic, like nature, so you've got to cut it the slack to be able to go that way. its a matter of invisioning. not of invisioning some detailed way of getting there, how you do when your awaike, but of taping into where you're going and your there. you can ride arround on or in things, or walk, but doing that only gets you to wherever THE'RE going to take you, which could be randomly anywhere. if you invision being some particular place, rather then trying to get there, then more often you will just sort of teleport there, rather then seeing the scenery in between. that's what i mean by how its a different parallel universe and the principals of physics working diferently then when we're awaike. so by trying to get somewhere by fallowing a particular algorythem that works when your awaike, i mean by trying to make that work, is like creating your own obsticals. sometimes you can take a train or a bus or something, and it well take you to a particular station or neighborhood consistantly. but the place itself might be subtly or even majorly different each time you visit, though usually in some ways, about the layout or the lay of the land, still recognizable. url's on the dream internet are like landforms on a usgs maps, or better yet, like how those landforms and sometimes cultural featurs looked the last time you were there. and the dream internet isn't as passive. its an actually geography. and the best way to travell, to get some particular place, is to teleport. though to learn the wider area geography you can explore and learn the bus and train systems. =^^= .../\...
