to play the Super Bowl halftime show. Paul fucking rocked... "Drive My Car", "Get Back", "Live and Let Die", and "Hey Jude"... I was hoping they'd play "I Saw Her Standing There", but alas, they didn't. His bass was the coolest fucking bass I've ever seen. How old is he?
I'm not a huge Paul McCartney, or even Beatles fan, but i thought he did a good job too.....he had a good, non-cheesy band behind him.... he's gotta be mid 50's by now at least
McCartney has occasionally been an embarasment over the years since Johns death, but he is still an amazing performer. Sadly a year after Jackson and Timberlake they are still alive.
I'm so damn glad they put someone who actually had talent in there. I guess people really got on their asses after the big Ashlee Simpson incident, so they had to.
I see Paul as a sell-out. I think he's the least talented of the 4. But I guess it's better than the regular line-up of stars.
have just heard he made 1.8 million pounds for a 12 minute stint . there is no doubt he is a talented musician "but agree he is the least talented of the beatles". i personally dont like him as a person "just my opinion". ..would like to see him donate this money to a charitable cause like tsunami or whatever . come/ ed paul do the right thing man .i read once that he held a party at his huge mansion "charged his guests" for the drinks.........../ peace /.............. ps 1.8 million for 12 minutes wow (must bye a guitar)
madcrappie i love that picture of will ferell and his cowbell AHAHAHA blue oyster cult! love the part when he really gets into it n you see his fat jiggling under his skin-tight shirt.. HELLO NURSE! didn't see much of paul performing, had to work! good for them they got a worthy musican, they could have easily got lindsay lohan or hilary duff (basically the same person with diffrent hair) God knows everytime i see one a them, i get the strong urge to start throwing tomatoes at my tv, but that would be such a waste
Yeah, i think that had to be the best half-time show i've seen, but then again i haven't seen many. I really liked the stage images and lights in the crowd as well...
Yeah, I think if George or John were alive, and they did a concert like this, they would definatley be more charitable.
putting aside the fact that paul is my least favorite beatle and all that, he pulled off an excellent show! The best (and only one I have cared enough to see) halftime show ever!
"The least talented of the Beatles?" Are you insane? You do understand that you're saying that Ringo Starr is more talented than Paul McCartney, right? Give me a break. Paul is a much better singer, songwriter, and musician. Actually, Paul and his wife are actively involved in the Adopt-a-Landmine campaign, so he's not a greedy as you think. You have to give credit where credit is due.
/ a lot of drummers dont get the recognishing they deserve . of course paul is a better singer songwriter than ringo " but there again ringo is a better drummer than paul .whats yer point ?. i personally think ringo is a more talented man . as for being insane ( what"s insanity) are you a doctor? .glad to here paul and heather are actively involved in the adopt a landmine campaign ( can you tell me in what capacity )?. /peace/
Well, to tell you the truth, I've heard more impressive drum work from Paul than Ringo. Paul did some drum work on his solo albums that's not too bad. Besides, Paul can play bass, guitar, piano, drums, and who knows what else while writing some of the most beloved songs in recent music history. I think he deserves more credit than he's getting. Well, they're mentioned on the front page of the campaign's website, and Paul promotes the campaign at his concerts, so I'd say he's pretty heavily involved.
