I guess one of the advantages antichristians have is they can post grotesque representations (see> Landover Baptist etc) without having to worry about things like honesty or integrity, all the while knowing most Christians would not be able to pull off the same scams.

I can't take Christianity seriously at all. It is THE biggest joke, lie, and rip-off.

Christ isn't your saviour, you've been lied to. Christ was of royal blood, he married (the saviour isn't supposed to marry), he had a daughter (but Christ isn't supposed to be so sinful, right?).

Go read the other 106 gospels that weren't included in the Bible by the Catholics. There is a reason why they weren't included: because they speak of how Jesus was a man, and not the son of God.

Christianity is war in the guise of peace. It tells you to convert non-believers or kill them. It forces you into a life of suffering and repression of emotion by scaring you with threats of Hell. If these were not true, wars would not have been waged in the name of God. Look at the Crusades, some of the worst wars in the history of the world, all thanks to you Christians. Even modern Christian psychics that claim to have spoken with God say there is no Hell, that God would never allow such a place to exist.

I feel sorry for you, bird. You can't accept humanity as it is, for what it's worth. You're going to die believing in someone who died 2000 years ago, and hasn't (and will not) return. It's really sorry, but since you're too close-minded to see anything else, it can't be avoided.

During the extermination of the Cathers, christians hung boys by their own entrails in order to get the Cathers to accept God's message of peace and mercy but the Cathers wouldn't listen.

Then the christians, in their infinite patience and concern for the Cather's immortal souls, tied little girl between horses and wipped the animals until they went mad and litterally tore the girls limb from limb in order to get them to accept God's offer of Love and forgiveness and the Cathers still wouldn't listen!

Finally after several years of torture, rape, murder, torture, infanticide, pillaging, and torture, the christians finally gave up and, merciffally and for the Cathers own good, exterminated the lot of them.

And who can blame them?

Not if someone does not have the experience to understand the evidence. The interesting thing is, once someone does have the experience, they no longer need God's existence to be proven, for they already know.

Hikaru- it is one who has experienced the tempest that knows that it is good for a soul to have respect for God. Without being ashamed of your past ignorance of the truth (unbelief), you will have problems differentiating between wisdom and ignorance. These lessons are not desired for you out of spite, but out of caring- that you will have a better, more fulfilling life when you have learned the truth.

oddly enough i cannot take christianity, or any other chauvanistic belief, 'serious', precisely by reason of this very same bias it, and a few others, expounds.

i take seriously that it exists, and the harm that this kind of collectively selfcentric perception percipitates.

but not as a standard of moral behaviour, nor as an understanding of nontangable aspects of existence.

whatever i have experienced, filling the space between the trees, when i have been alone with it, i have never witnessed a corrispondance to or with, from the teachings of any temple or church, sacred text, or widely held 'organized' belief.

the closest i have found, and that only an approximation, more to outer seaming then inner sense, are taoism, and the keeping of indiginous traditions, neither of which, btw, i am any sort of real authority on.
