Over the last 40 days, I have lost two pounds but have a significant visible loss of body fat and gain in muscle tone. I still have a BMI of 33, and quite a ways to go, but it's not nearly as dangerous if it's muscle mass so I am not stressing it. I think that with my build, my goal is a BMI of 25-30, but I'm flexible with it. I feel great, whatever the little charts say. And I love my muscles. XD I did my fasting blood sugar today, after 16 hours without any intake other than water (I was thirsty, not hungry), and my blood sugar was still well within normal range. I haven't had any symptoms of low sugar for a few weeks, even when I couldn't eat while sick. In September, I was diabetic, and am no longer even hypoglycemic. So much for the family death sentence! I'll be watching this for the rest of my life, obviously. But it looks like if I just keep working out and maintaining a healthy diet I might just NOT die at 60 from sugar complications like the rest of my family almost invariably does. I am totally celebrating right now.
I think two, because they where celebrating the conversion to muscle, etc.... and .5lb a day would be rather hard, without using a carving knife. Well lucky you, having the kind of diabetes you can "beat".
