i am currently eating a kiwano horned melon.

it is probably most comparable to passion fruit. it doesn't have a lot of flavor but the flavor it does have is light, not very sweet, and refreshing. also, they look awesome.

 

I've had those.

they're kinda citrus like inside.

maybe a bit acidic but they are gooey and it's slow going cuz the "fruit" surrounds the seeds. the seeds look like small cantaloupe seeds.

 

but the little pots
they look citrusee

the texture is not the same

and I know of the seeds

ahh i see what you're saying.

that is a good decription of the flavor. very faint sweetness. i can almost taste the chlorophyll.

edit: GRAPES! it tastes a bit like barely ripe green grapes!

 

oh my god. it took me an hour to eat half of this fruit.

haha i liked it and i actually like pomegranate too. it is likely more difficult to eat than pomegranate.. and not as nutritious.

 

Dang that pic of the kiwano melon looks delicious, and now I want some pomegranate and frozen green grapes too. Think I need a fruity snack

I stole one of those from the grocery once, 'cause it looked crazy. Cut it open, and I swear to god, the inside of those are made out of boogers.

Pure snot.

They taste weird as fuck. A bit cucumber-y. Like you just ate a big mouthful of the boogery middle part of a boogery ass cucumber.
